I loved living at Liberty Square. Management always took care of my needs. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11.

I’ve lived in a lot of different complexes and Liberty is one of the nicer ones. I understand how parking seems expensive to some, but I lived in a place where it was 85 bucks monthly! Not by the semester, so that was definitely a load off my shoulders. Washing/Drying was cheaper than my old place too – except I usually had to do two cycles to dry. And as long as you pass your cleaning checks, and pay rent on time you’ll be good. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

The wards are fun but other than that liberty square really doesn't have much going for it. The rent is expensive. The parking is a mess, and overpriced. The internet is very slow. The management is my biggest complaint. I have not met a single person who has lived at Liberty Square who liked the management. In fact most people hated them. They will try to find any way possible to fine you. Simply put they are horrible to work with. I would not live at Liberty Square again and i would not recommend it as a place to live if anyone were to ask. In fact, i would try to persuade friends or siblings to not live at Liberty Square. There are plenty of other places to live that are cheaper, as close to campus, and equally social. Find somewhere else to live. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

I don't get what people are sayin. I never had a problem with my internet, parking, or maintenance. Problems were fixed promptly, and rent wasn't too steep it's just a lot when you're paying for college. Anyways I'll probably live here again next fall. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

Its a nice place to live with nice appliances and things. The internet was slow and they only have one hard-wired connection for every apartment. As for price they absolutely screw you with every little thing they can. The Price for parking is simply outrageous when you are already paying too much for rent. Late fee is really steep and they only take checks or money orders. There is another fee if you use a card to pay rent. They are really slow on maintenance as well as our door is still broken 2 months after we told them about it. Nice pool and hot-tub, no longer a year round pool. Wouldn't live here again. The social scene is very good though I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

Internet is FINE! I didn't get a parking spot parking on the street sucks. I did enjoy the activities in my ward and the ones management threw. I would live here again. I had a lot of fun with my friends. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11.

I'm looking at these comments already provided and my first thought is that management must be filling these things out to boost their ratings. Because what student would ever get on here to PRAISE a landlord? Managers were horrible to work with and parking is an absolute nightmare. The apartments are so-so, and you can find the social life they have anywhere in Provo. I'd say steer FAR away from here. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

They steal from you here. The internet never works. They overcharge you. The management is making bank off the renters. But the ladies are fine.

quality- cleaning was done every couple months. and if i ran into any maintenence problems they were fixed within 24 hours. cleaning checks were very strict so it also helped us keep our apartment kept up. price- big apartment, i thought I was getting my moneys worth. local- its really close to byu and the library. two very usful things. social- my ward constantly planned fun activites. the management had really fun socials. there was a halloween party and the occasional pizza party. and they do hot dog fridays by the pool. landlord- the office was helpful when i had questions. they put out usful memos when they're doing maintenence or when cleaning checks are coming. parking- the spaces were pretty tight but it was nice to have a reserved spot everyday. extra stuff- they had the pool up for the winter which was nice. and I got a free lunch every friday. and they occasionally will rent out a theater for a cool movie on opening day that all the residents can go to for free. I rented from fall '09 through winter 10. ...

Quality: The apartments constantly have someone living in them. And the upkeep isn't bad for them always being full. Maintenance will respond within 24 hours. They clean the carpets every semester. And they've gotten some new appliances that are really nice. Cleaning Checks: Are tough. BE EXTREMELY CLEAN. And scrub till you bleed. Office/Staff/Management: Free vacuum bags and belts! Lunch every Friday. I love how the office is open late Mon-Thurs. As long as your honest and are a good tenant management will always try to look for a solution to any problem. They're not going to take the time to listen to you if your screaming about something that was clearly your fault (Past experience w/ roommate.) I was in a pickle where my things needed to be moved while I was on vacation and management went out of there way to help me out even though it was entirely MY RESPONSIBILITY. And as an added note: I'd like to say that so many people have such a poor attitude. All of these people complaining about fees and how Liberty is there to get every cent of your money are just trying to make it seem like they didn't do anything wrong. If you enter into a contract, you should probably read it, find out the things that need to be done to get your security deposit back and do them!!! Its NOT a hotel it is an APARTMENT of RENT. (As in YOU are supposed to take care of any problems. NOT the "maid.") Price: Acceptable for how close it is to BYU and all the amenities! Location: Incredibly Awesome. (WALKING DISTANCE!) Social: Suuuuch friendly people. Basketball games every few nights and everyone always lets everyone play! Parking: Kinda tight but I always got to park close to my building. In close: I like living here, if I did something wrong I admitted it payed my fee and went on with my life. Management was nice because I was always so humble and helped me out when I got in a bind! Thanks Liberty! I rented from spring 10 through summer 10. ...

I'm happy to leave. The people that work there are nice enough but the policies they have in place are designed to get as much money as possible. They don't take cash or credit card without an extra fee. The laundry takes extra coins to finish drying. A contract sell fee was an $65 dollars even though I found my replacement myself. I was charged $35 dollars for a couple of spots of mold, and to get the few cents left of my deposit they charged another $5 for a stamp and envelope to mail me the check. I'm broke now, thanks Liberty Square. I rented from spring 10 through summer 10. ...

SOCIAL I am the EQ President in my ward. The guys in my ward (and others) are very confident, handsome, spiritually in tune, and exceptionally nice (no dirtbags). I have lived in many other complexes and this place has good guys (for you girls). The girls are GORGEOUS here. They are ALL very nice! I could knock on ANY girls apartment, that I didnt know, and become friends with that apartment VERY easily. Cliques seemed non-existent. HOWEVER, the place is only as social as you make it. The reason Liberty Square is social is because INDIVIDUALS living there went out of there way to make something happen. If you aren't enjoying your time here because "there aren't enough activities" then start creating some yourself. INTERNET If you are in the kitchen or the living room the internet is OK (I would say that the internet works 80% of the time. Of that 80%, 20% of the time it can be VERY slow). The internet works about 30% of the time in the bedrooms. If you do get a connection in the bedrooms, it is much slower than being in the front rooms. They just put in one wall outlet (per apartment) so you can use a LAN chord (in which the Internet works 95% of the time). PARKING If you get a parking pass take this into consideration: DON'T PARK ON THE LINE (you will get booted). AND it seems like they check the parking lot three times a day. So, if friends come to visit, have them park on the street (they are ALWAYS there at night). LOCK YOUR DOORS at night too. All break ins that I knew of where because apartments and car doors WERE NOT LOCKED. APARTMENTS No stone walls. Easy to decorate. I don't feel that I am living in a dump when I am at home. Plenty of storage room. Four person Kitchens have more room then the six person kitchens for some reason. Two bathrooms, one fridge. MANAGEMENT They are just like everyone else, just trying to run the place. You can find problems with them just as you can anywhere else. Most of management takes time to remember your name, and help you out as much as you can. MAINTENANCE I felt they were VERY responsive. If something broke, wee would write the work order, and usually it was fixed by the next day at the latest. I rented from winter 10 through spring '09. ...

Management is terrible. They lie about a lot of stuff and try to take advantage of you. Unfortunately they can because they have such a good location. Just be prepared to get pushed around by all of them. You will quickly find out that everyone hates the management and they hate you. I rented from winter '09 through fall '09. ...

This was a really fun place to live. The ward is great and the place can be really social if you want to be social. The parking situation really sucks and there were a lot of cars broken into. It is really close to campus. The girls are really pretty and are sophomore age and the guys are all returned missionaries. I recommend living here but definitely for not more than a whole year. NEVER LIVE HERE. Sophomores are suckered in to living here because Liberty Squares still clings to the slogan "You Pay For Your Social Life". I will say that that is all you pay for. I absolutely loved my ward, and the people who live here are way down to earth and fun to hang out with. That being said, management is horrible! They are extremely disrespectful and dishonest. They are out to get every last dollar they can and they don't care how they do it. Paying $345 for a shared room is a joke. They also charge for internet that is literally non-existent. I had an apartment with 6 people in it and we had an ant investation for 3 months out of the 4 we lived here. We also had the disposal from upstairs back up in to our shower TWICE, and and the disposal in our kitchen backup once. Management tries to blame everyone except themselves. And one point gave my roommate and I an ultimatum of leaving without our last months rent/security deposit. Or staying and not bothering them about maintenance anymore. To make a long story short, BYU housing got involved and Management got in huge trouble and was forced to let us out of our contracts for free. And it wasn't just the 2 of us. All six girls in this apartment ended up moving out because of how terrible our experience was here. For $345 a month you could could a MUCH nicer apartment and a single room for the same price. I rented from fall '09 through fall '09. ...
