I lived here for two years and the location is fabulous!! The street stays relatively quiet, apartment is close to campus, and there are great food places around. The property manager is a little bit of a nightmare so make sure that you document any issues when you move in and understand that you may be swallowing more in costs because of issues in the apartments that you occasionally have to take care of. I also recommend paying rent with a check so that you can show her that it has been deposited. She forgets who has paid rent and does not have a good way of tracking (still using a typewriter) If you are nice and hold your ground with her then this is a great place to be!! the apartments are so nice for the price! ...

The people who wrote all those ad comments re Cathy don't know what their talking about. She did an excellent job as manager. If that girl would read her lease, $50 fee is set up by BYU - not management. They or she probably have a grudge because they had to clean or had other issues in life to deal with. Cathy is a good person & has always been fair , honest,& concerned about students. People who write bad comments about someone else have more serious problems about themselves they cannot deal with. As already said, Cathy is the WORST. It took them over two months to fix the light in our kitchen. For cleaning checks they got mad at us for not wiping down the cupboards, but when they came back to recheck, they just hounded on us for one of the bathtubs which was already disgusting when we moved in. Not a reasonable woman. Other than that, it's great to be close to campus, have a washer and dryer, and underground parking. If you can handle bad management, I guess this is the place for you. As most people said here Cathy is THE WORST. I moved out of the complex because I couldn't deal with her. One of my roommates was FILTHY we shared a bathroom and I ended up showering at my aunt's house in Orem because the smell and dirtiness of the bathroom was insane. After trying to get her to be more clean (at least in shared areas) she didn't change and when I reported the problem to Cathy she sent her a letter. I waited two months and reported her again because nothing had changed. She said she would send a cleaning lady and charge the entire apartment. I told her it wasn't fair that everyone had to pay for that one roommate but I couldn't reason with her. I had been living there for almost two years and I had not complained once. I asked her to either let me move without paying the fee or ask my roommate to look for other places to live because she didn't comply with the rules and contract for the apartment. She spoke to my roommates and made it look like I complained about all of them. They were upset with me so I moved out because the situation became unbearable. DO NOT rent from this company. Cathy will not help you and she will charge $50 if you sell your contract even if you are not at fault. I rented from Fall 2013 - Winter 2015 I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

Cathy is the worst! After living here, I learned the important life lesson of making sure that the management isn't just nice to you when you are signing the contract. Do not live here. Any good qualities about this apartment is not worth dealing with the landlord, Cathy. Just save yourself some time and energy and live somewhere else not managed by Nelson Property Management. I rented from Fall 2013 to Winter 2015.

Cathy Orehoski is probably one of the worst landlords to deal with. She refuses to be reasonable in extenuating circumstances. Also, she amends additional contractual obligations AFTER you have already signed the contract. The contract is year round and if you try to even ask her if you can terminate early, she will not tolerate you. She requires a $50 fee if you ever sell your contract to someone else (who knows what that fee goes towards). It's not like she has any computer files that she has to change because she doesn't have a computer (the woman uses a typewriter). She is always very short with her tenants and does not put them first. Overall the management is merciless and inexorable. Definitely do not recommend doing business with her. I rented from Fall 2013 to Winter of 2015. ...

The condition of the apartments are alright, but pretty consistently the dryers in the apartments suck, in mine we have to run it 3 or 4 times before the clothes are dry, we had problems with our heater, the bathroom door does not close.
