I decided to renew my lease here. It is a really convenient place to live and I have great roommates! The clubhouse is great to have so I can print things off, workout, and do my homework. There are always people outside and around so I have people to talk to and hang out with. The rent here is cheap for having all the amenities and for having such a nice apartment! I rented from fall '09 through spring 11. ...

I just signed to live at Hillcrest again for my third year. Iโ€™m always having a good time!!! Super social and fun place to live, my roommates are awesome. The staff is energetic and perky. Great way to meet people, they even hold monthly events/mixers to get residents together. (Thereโ€™s usually free food!!) Love that itโ€™s close to campus! Seriously with the cheap rent and utilities and all the free things that are included I wish I could live here forever! Big recommendation if youโ€™re in college and looking for a fun place to live!!! ...

Hillcrest is great and has been a great part of my college experience. The clubhouse is amazing and I use it all the time (to tan, workout, use the ATM, or print my homework). I would totally recommend living here.

I have lived here at Hillcrest for almost 2 semesters and I love living here. The location is close to the UNI campus and their is a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes and picks you up. The staff and managers here are very friendly. I am greeted with a smile everytime I come in and I feel welcomed. The new clubhouse was built when I first moved in and it is amazing. All of my accomadtions from a fitness center, ATM maching, computers, game room, and a hang out place are met. I would definately recommend Hillcrest. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

I have lived at Hillcrest for almost a year now and i have not had any problems with anything since i have lived here. I think the staff here are really nice and helpful if you need anything. The maintance here is very fast. All you have to do is put in a work order and they normally arrive the next day to fix whatever is needed. Also, they do not charge for any fixing or whatever maintance you need. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...

I have lived at Hillcrest for almost seven months now, and I actually like it alot. The price is pretty average for a college apartment and I think it is a good place to live. It is quiet during the week, when you would like study, and doesn't get too loud on the weekends. The weekends are fun here and I have made a lot of friends! I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...

I enjoy Hillcrest. It is nice to have a shuttle that takes you to the bars on the weekend. The only complaint I have is the random roommate assignment, I wish it was more based off personality compatability. I rented from summer 10 through winter 11.

I have lived at Hillcrest for roughly 3 years now and I couldnt be happier. It is defiantly priced well for everything you get at this place. The only downfall is having 4 roomates but i love the washer/dryer in the apartment and how nicely kept the actual apartments are. Managaemnt is grreat and work with you very well. Maintnence also does a great job at getting right to any problem you have. I rented from fall '09 through fall 11. ...

I have lived at Hillcrest since January of 2011 and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff are always available to help whether it be questions with rent, roommate discrepancies, or just general information and they're always happy to do so. Maintenance is always on top of things and they're always very friendly when they arrive at our apartments. There is also a shuttle available Thursday-Saturday to transport us to The Hill or Main Street. It is such a convenient thing to have and the driver is the best. There's also a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to take us to class which is awesome and prevents a lot of parking tickets we would otherwise receive. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Hillcrest and I intend to stay until I've finished school at UNI! I rented from spring 11 through fall 11. ...

Like any apartment complex, you will have some noise issues living closely around other people, but overall, my experiences have been very quiet. Hillcrest is a great place to live. It's affordable and provides extensive amenities for the students living here. From printing and tanning, to netflix and prize drawings; they go above and beyond to make this an enjoyable environment. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...

I lived at Hillcrest this past school year. It wasn't greatest experience at first due to roommate issues, but when I talked to management about it they were very helpful and made the transition to a new apartment really easy. The apartments themselves are really nice and its a great place to live. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

I have lived at Hillcrest both my junior and senior years at UNI. Both years so far, I have enjoyed living here. After reading a lot of the reviews, I must say I have not had the poor experience a lot of others claim to have had--not even close. Hillcrest is close to campus and provides bus service to those who choose not to drive, and also provide a shuttle on the weekends for those who are being smart and not drinking and driving. There is tanning, cable, internet, and printing-- all included in the price. All of these amenities are things that would be IN ADDITION to a similar rent other places. The office staff has always been extremely nice and is always trying to get to know their tenants. Where else do you find apartment complexes that have FREE things like Netflix movies every month, a tailgate, picnic, present-wrapping station at Christmas, and offer free grilled cheese and tomato soup during finals week? On top of this, there are constantly prizes being given away--including laptops. Maintenance is one of the things that impressed me at Hillcrest. We have relied on maintenance several times, even for things that were our fault--clogged tub drains and a nickel getting stuck inside the drierโ€”no questions asked. They have always been extremely prompt and very polite every time they've come to our apartment. As for the noise level at Hillcrest, itโ€™s college!! No matter which apartment complex you go to, it would be impossible to NOT have to deal with things like parties or noise. It is not solely a problem here, as some of the other reviews have stated. If it was to become an excessive occurrence, the management is always willing to do whatever they can to help, as youโ€™re probably not the only ones who find it annoying. Personally, I have not found it to be very noisy. Yes, occasionally you can hear music or people outside, but for the most part it is on the weekends and hasnโ€™t interfered with classes or studying for me. As I said before though, itโ€™s college and itโ€™s to be expectedโ€”at any apartment complex. A friend and I were even matched up with 2 other girls, and it went so well that we chose to live together our 2nd year here as well. From my experience here, I would recommend Hillcrest! I rented from summer 10 through winter 11. ...

Hillcrest is a great way to meet new people and enjoy your college experience without the small quarters of the dorms. The apartments themselves are very nice for only paying $345 a month! Kitchens and bathrooms are big. It gets loud on occasion but everyone I've met is friendly and cooperative when it comes to keeping quiet when need be. Staff is almost always on hand and helpful! Hillcrest is the perfect place for sophomore-junior age college kids. I rented from summer 10 through winter 11. ...
