We lived there for about a year. We heard that exact same thing as the other reviewer that the carpet was only 7 years old and they would not replace it. The carpet was old and disgusting. They claimed they cleaned it but it never looked like it. They never replaced the bedroom door that was damaged by the prior tenants. The appliances are old. Our wash machine broke when we moved in and it was so old the parts could not easily be obtained so they replaced it with an old wash machine. When you sign your lease they provide you a shopping list of how they will charge you to clean. What a joke, they clearly never cleaned the place prior to us moving in. We are still waiting for the return of our security deposit. Eventhough we left the apartment in the lovely condition that we received it in, I assume they will keep the deposit anyways. The pool and park area was nice. If you look at the outside of the builiding most of the gararage doors are dented, front doors have rust on them. Trim is falling off the building. They constantly sent newsletters stating they will fine you if you park in the wrong spot or leave your garbarge cans out. I only lived an two other apartments in my life and this place was not impressive. Also, if the walls were damaged where the prior tenants hung curtains, they did a horrible patch job. Also, even though they are required to give a first coat of paint prior to moving in, it still doesn't look great. In our apartment, they must have had frozen ice on the roof, because you can see where the roof leaked and they did a horrible job patching it. They will not allow you to see the apartment you are moving into until you sign the lease. They show a model which looks clean crisp with nice carpeting; however, your apartment will not look that nice. People are constantly moving in and out. The place is a revolving door. Based on the other reviews, I guess I see why. Even though kids were not allowed in the pool area without adult supervision, there were often unsupervised children.
