Priced like luxury, but it's really just a little hole in the wall. Cute but not worth the $$$$. Lived here for 3 years, I moved in because I was in a pinch and rented sight unseen. I then learned the hard way the unit I rented was NOT in the secured
courtyard. Units 105, 205, 106, and 206 have absolutely no fences, gates, or security. This means people who can't afford homes can and will come up and pound on your window, knock on your door, and leave or take stuff on your doorstep. The building is right on 10th which will cause the whole building to vibrate when cops, busses, or big trucks speed by. There is 1 Washer/dryer in this building and it is also outside of the secure courtyard. If you live inside the courtyard, you must go out in the street, through the rain (or snow), and around the building to do laundry.
It is cute, and I had trees in the back but the building is old and unmaintained. The Bathroom ceiling caved in unit 205, the kitchen sink broke, and despite multiple requests, it was never fixed and the maintenance men just came in and out without communicating. Some were super great guys but it wasn't consistent and I never had any idea what was happening.
I rented from this company for 4 years (1 at a prior building) and watched them gouge the rent. They pushed the rent up to the max each cycle without any improvements, they wanted to up my rent for unit 205 to over $1800. However, during their tours, I heard them drop the rent significantly. They dropped the price to $1650 with a free month. This company will not take care of the building or people. April the property manager is super nice tho, doesn't make up for being driven out by insane price increases that have no basis in the quality of the apartment. Don't rent without a tour and check the square footage cause I really don't think 205 is 510 sq feet. Also, I have never seen anyone use the BBQ or the courtyard its tiny area that doesn't have room to actually sit in.
