I lived in Shenandoah Circle in 2002 and 2003 and I love it. The rent was cheap and the townhouses were spacious. The units were old but nothing ever went wrong and management left us alone. Washer and dryer in unit was nice. The good thing about the leasing guy is that he and his friends owned a bunch of the houses so they knew a lot and were really nice. Parking was great and it is right on the BT bus route. The only complaint I could come up with was that they took a long time to get our security deposit back to us after we moved out. However, I do think the Shenandoah townhomes were the most affordable place to live in B'burg (they are all 3 br, 2.5 ba...and ours was 800/mo total for 3 people). I kinda wished the neighbors would be more friendly...it's not a great place if you're looking to mingle and party etc (but no one really wants to live in the party neighborhood), but our neighbors were nice. Another good thing is that it was walking distance to some of the party neighborhoods. I also remember a good walking/running trail right in the complex. I rented from fall '02 through fall '03. ...
