Of course, they ripped off my deposit by charging for a removal of a satellite which was there previous to my lease. They kicked me outta their office for copying a 20 pg. document. So I pay 20 thousand dollars in rent and they have the audacity to deny use of the community office? Typical. Twice while I was there, people were shot. Parking is unsecured. Office staff are scam artists. Maintenance guys are good, but limited by the scheme-y management crew. Bathroom fans are ancient and noisy, and attached to lighting so they ALWAYS go on. I unplugged the fan even though I was told it was impossible to do so. "Upgrades" were poorly implemented face lifts. New molding doesn't fit. New light fixtures are defective and the mgmt won't replace them. The AC units are outside the bedrooms and thus can be clearly heard throughout the duration of one's stay here. I also felt the movements of the tenant above me as if they were in my own apartment. How flimsy does the construction have to be for that to happen? The insulation was very poor in this community. I had a very hard time keeping the apartment temperature at a different degree than outdoors. Often I resorted to closing off a third of the space to accommodate for the increase in utilities. I rented from winter '07 through winter '08. ...
