The management is AWFUL. Always sneaking in extra fees on you for the *smallest* things. Do NOT NOT NOT live here. They will make your life miserable. (Have a support animal? Nope, they won't allow it. They threatened to unlawfully sue my buddy after they signed the contracts allowing him to rent. Other friend had to release their cat to the wild or be evicted. ) I rented from fall 2016 through winter 2017. ...

The management at Old Mill is a nightmare. I know, you're probably thinking, "When do I ever interact with the management anyway?" My landlady lived in South Jordan and had a policy that the first time we interacted (signing the contract), she would drive down, but the second time we needed something, we had to drive to her. She charged me $10 cleaning re-check fee because I "didn't clean behind the oven or fridge", which I did do. I tried to sell my contract because I wanted to move closer to campus, and she refused applicants for over a month, then finally offered me most of my deposit back and "prorated rent" if she ever approves anyone, which I am not optimistic about receiving. I rented from winter 2016 through winter 2016. ...

Being condos it really depends on your unit and particular land lord. My first condo had an awesome land lord, but a really crappy apartment that was falling apart. My second had a renovated bathroom, so every tenant had their own shower. They are old units, make sure to see yours before moving in. I rented from fall 2014 through fall 2015. ...

Great place. Indoor pool and cheap laundry. Just ask previous tenants about the landlord if you're worried about them. Shopping is close - both Provo and Orem malls are a short bus ride away, and so is the temple. Lots of places to go out to as well. Nice people. Nice activities. Worth the price if you ask me. I rented from summer 10 through winter 11. ...

The landlords are great. If you work with them and are respectful towards them, they will do the same. Parking is also great here.

This place is affordable, and my unit is pretty good condition. If aspen ridge management decides a repair is important they move reasonably quick. The only thing that disappointed me was signing promises that were later changed. Beware any sales tricks from their agent. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

For the price this is a really great deal! If you aren't looking for freshman housing this is the place to be. For young single adult housing this offers alot of privacy as well as quality apartments. Never hard to find a parking space which is nice as well! ...

The parking spaces are a little small. They have the year round indoor pool and volleyball court; green house area is nice. The apartments themselves are nice and spacious; it's nice to have the big bed, the private toilet and sink, your own half bath :) I recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient location: lots of grocery stores, shopping, and food options close by. The price is more than reasonable. Mountain View Management has very helpful landlords. ...

The parking here is absolutely terrible. The parking lot, and spaces are so narrow that if people park next to you, it is impossible to get out. Also, they tow relentlessly. They check the parking lot at exactly 11 and tow anything that doesn't have a sticker. It is also not uncommon to see tow trucks patrolling around 10:30 looking for cars to tow. Also, the showers are incredibly awkwardly designed. Not only do they open into the room, so that water drips onto the carpet, but they are shared. Prepare to buy curtains, and bath mat if you move into this apartment. If your roommate works early the shower wakes you up every day! Its bright if you don't have a thick dark curtain but that still wont block the noise. PS the lights look like they are from purchased used from a Motel 6 and the are wall lights which makes it hard to see anything unless you have like 3 other lamps in your room. ...

Old mill is awesome! The prior here are a little older, so there aren't any crazy parties or anything. But it's still a fun place to live. The parking spaces are small.

I really loved living here. The all-year pool and volleyball was a lot of fun and attracted a lot of cool people. It was nice to have my own room and bathroom at a reasonable price. Since every apartment is owned by someone else you take your luck with a landlord. Luckily mine was awesome. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

Lots of space - my apartment had 4 private bathrooms and 4 private showers. Tons of storage. Nice furniture. Management was good about fixing things as we needed. Parking lot needs some work. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11.

RUN FAR AWAY AND NEVER LOOK BACK!!! You WILL be cheated out of your money. Pictures look nothing like this place. I spent months cleaning an apartment that was supposed to have already been cleaned. There is never a cleaning check either. Which is odd cause it is supposedly BYU approved housing. Believe me when I say, they should rename this place Mold Mill. My parents took one look at this place and offered to pay whatever it took to just get me out of there, and that was when they helped me move in.. I rented from winter 11 through spring 11. ...

Piss poor ward. crappy living conditions. You can smell smoke even though it's supposed to be a smoke-free place. I spent the first month or so cleaning black mold in just my room alone, then moved on to battling carpenter ants on my own as well. No response to any problem ever. Advertises high speed internet and half the time the internet doesn't even work. Run. Now. Never look back. ...

i was happy living here. i liked that the age of people living there varied. there were young and some slightly older/further along in school or career. the location- so so so convenient! i could get anywhere i wanted to go quick. i could get to work in orem fast (great back door routes available to university mall so you avoid all traffic!!) and i could get to school in provo fast too. lots of grocery stores, shopping, and food options close by. i always felt safe walking to and from my car late. i would recommend this apt to someone looking for a convenient and fun place to live. This is specific to unit #332; it's WAY better than other condos in the complex. New appliances, nice furniture, lots of extra storage space, HUGE rooms--if I didn't have to move out of the area I'd still live there. Private half bath and two shared showers. Management is really nice (privately owned). Laundry room is only a few steps away which is GREAT. I rented from summer '06 through spring '09. ...

the windows were always steamed up and soaking the carpet. i fail to understand why no one else has mentioned what has to be, by far, the oddest feature of these apartments. What is advertised to be a "private" bath is, ironically, a tall, square shower that is accessed by you and the adjacent room by a rickety accordian-style door that looks like it leads into a closet, making awkward roommate peepshows inevitable. also, reports of ghosts have been listed on "strangeusa.com" GOOD LUCK!!!! the people are disgusting.. I rented from fall '04 through winter '05. ...
