Management is horrible when you get a personal landlord and not a big company. DON'T get #3. I don't remember the landlords name. It was a girl. But she was horrific! Totally went against our contract. She even gave a key to the previous owner and she came in all the time. It was terrible. Just live with bigger companies. These landlord made this living experience awful! They cheat you out of it money. Holy Christensen and Bobbette Bushnell. They are awful. Hard to communicate with. Holy Christensen have the key to another woman who once lived in our residence and hadn't moved out all of her stuff. So she came in whenever she wanted. She has a key still! And her stuff was still in the place! Then rent was fined even more because of stupid little things that she said were in the contract but weren't. Bobbette bushnell - she was so difficult to get ahold of because she loved in Washington. Awful!! Should be illegal. She would not do anything for us. The apartment kept breaking down and nothing would get fixed because she was extremely difficult to get ahold of. Then she made the cheapest repairs in the world. Awful All in all, so not live in a place that is owned by just one person. They don't care about you. So it with a company. I rented from spring 2017 through summer 2018. ...

Hampstead itself was alright but my landlord was absolutely horrible. She lives in Oregon and has a "property manager" who doesn't know how to do anything. I ended up doing all the repairs myself. Now, it has been a month and a half since I moved out and I still haven't gotten my deposit back even though the contract states that she must return it to me within 30 days. I lived here for 3 semesters and didn't realize how lucky I was. I moved away and now I'm back and looking for a new place and can't believe how much you have to pay for so little. This was a very spacious apartment compared to what I have seen in my new search (that goes for older AND newer places). The kitchen and living area were two separate rooms instead of one medium sized mush. A short hallway separates the social areas from the living areas, which is nice if you are trying to sleep or get homework done. There are two shared bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also has a washer and dryer, which after having, I cannot live without. Because of the layout of the building, some of the apartments have a long dark hallway leading to the door, which I don't think is safe. Also, be careful of the back staircase; the security light was burned out the entire time I was there (even though I called management about it many times) and the stairs get really icy in the winter. I thought the location was great. Very quick and easy to walk to school. The ward is pretty spread out, but a lot of activities are held in the courtyard, so its not so bad. Moved into a condo that was never cleaned. Spacious kitchen. Ward boundaries are super spread out with lots of houses. Have to make an effort to be social. Not a lot of activities, and definitely way more girls than guys. Nice bishopric. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...
