I was really excited to live at the Crown. The kitchen is huge which is probably the only good thing about it. There is only one dryer and one washer for every single resident (so for 12 apartments of 6 girls we all share one dryer and washer). It is impossible to wash your clothes and it has to be done so aggressively. The rest of the apartment is super tiny--there is absolutely no storage room (we had no idea where to put the broom and vacuum). The neighboring areas are all right...the houses in front of crown on the north side are a bit sketchy--the cops were there a few times. On the south side is liberty square and they can get really noisy. Lastly, management is down right rude and greedy. During the COVID 19 pandemic they made my life impossible and got out every single dollar they could from me, they made my roommate clean the oven because I wasn't there (I'm high risk!!) and then they still charged me. Completely merciless. They make you buy all these cleaning supplies to scrub the tub. Management was so unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever. I really regret living there and would NEVER recommend it. EVER. Also, if you're someone who wants to live in a social ward---it is not a social ward at all. The bishop doesn't care about anyone's names except the same 3 girls who have multiple callings within the ward. GO ANYWHERE ELSE I rented from fall 2019 through spring 2020. ...

I was pleasantly surprised by The Crown! I know some places in Provo are pretty dumpy but that is not the case with The Crown. The apartments are really nice, especially for the price you are paying. There is a good amount of space and storage, it is close to campus, and we haven't run into any major problems living there. Maintenance is pretty good about coming and fixing things. It is also pretty easy to request for maintenance. If you are planning on living here and want a parking spot, submit your application early otherwise you might not get a spot and have to wait for one to open. I would definitely recommend The Crown to any girls looking for a new place to live! I rented from fall 2019 through winter 2020. ...

These are wonderful apartments at a decent price. There is plenty of storage space. Everything is in good condition, the maintenance people help if there are any problems, and the manager responds in a reasonable time as well. There isn't a lot of parking available and there are only two washers/dryers for the place, but it's not a deal breaker. I rented from fall 2019 through fall 2020. ...

The kitchen space is so nice, with a large island in the center. It's located so close to BYU campus as well. Sometimes parking can be tricky if you have visitors. There are only a couple washers and dryers for the complex, but I've usually never had a problem using them when I need to. Definitely one of the cheapest apartments in Provo this close to campus. This is a good value, especially for student housing. I was paying the same amount at another complex with less space, and it was not as nice. The kitchen and bathrooms here are very nice, and the living area was very spacious. I didn't really socialize at this place (the age range seemed to be very young 20s and I'm a bit older), so I cannot give a rating on that. It seems to attract nice people though; my roommates where all easy to get along with. 4/6 of us where engaged by the end of the semester lol, so that might give you an idea of the dating scene. My only complaint is how little space there is in the parking lot, but that really can't be helped. As for management, I didn't interact with them often, but I got emails to stay up to date on cleaning checks, and the one time I sent a maintenance request, it was taken care of speedily. Checking in/ out was also very easy, so they seem to be on top of things. I very much recommend this place. I rented from fall 2019 through fall 2019. ...

I really enjoyed my time at Crown. It's really one of the best deals on campus considering that it's less expensive than what you're getting at other places in the area (especially with a year contract). It's a super cozy, home-y place to live. I loved my roommates and learned a lot from them. Plus it's super close to campus. I didn't have a car so didn't have to worry about parking. If you're looking for a sweet deal, totally recommend!!! I rented from spring 2018 through fall 2018. ...

I loved, loved, loved living at crown and I am so sad that I have to leave! The apartments are nice, clean, and updated. They have beautiful granite counter tops. It is close to camps. The management is wonderful! They recently installed new internet. There are no complaints whatsoever about crown apartments! They are really a hidden gem of BYU off-campus housing. This is a great apartment and I really loved living there! the management was great to work with and I had no problems ever with them. the only downside is I think they are raising the price for this upcoming fall and I don't think it is worth what they will be charging. But that's just me. I rented from spring 2016 through winter 2018. ...

The housing is fine. Floors are always super dirty no matter how hard you try to clean them. Management is good at fixing stuff but will do anything to get more money. Overpriced for the place you live at. Overall it's a below average place. I rented from fall 2017 through winter 2018. ...

The internet is terrible and we have tried multiple times to resolve it. The apartment is really expensive compared to other places of similar value. The management is super nice! I rented from winter 2018 through winter 2018.

Management was awesome. I submitted a few things that needed fixing through their webpage and a guy came to fix it the next day. Tons of room for having people over and a great kitchen. I rented from spring 2017 through summer 2017.

I loved living at Crown!! I lived here for about a year and a half until I got engaged. The management is awesome, and the apartments are recently renovated so they're really nice. LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! I have lived at Crown for over a year now and don't plan on moving out. The price for what you are paying for is great! Everything is extremely clean and new. Management is awesome. Erin, our landlord, is great and super friendly! We always get our maintenance requests filled ASAP. There is plenty of storage and I think the rooms are the perfect size. You get a lot of natural light in the apartment so it makes it feel more spacious. They recently changed the parking passes so as long as you have a parking pass, you will always have a spot to park. The only downfalls I would say are the floors are pretty squeaky if you live on the first or second floor you can hear your neighbors above you occasionally, and the internet is pretty bad. But overall, Crown is awesome! Also, the ward is awesome! This has been my favorite ward since being here at BYU. The guys in the ward come from Liberty Square. Really really great place to live! The newly remodeled kitchens and bathrooms are great, however I don't think they were worth the other issues. My biggest problem with this place was the internet! It is absolutely horrible! Not reliable in any way, I had to be connected to an ethernet cord if I ever wanted to have reliable internet, but sometimes that didn't even work! Management wasn't very helpful on the internet problems, they just told us to call the company ourselves. Also, the floors are extremely squeaky, so if you're in the second or first floor, it is super loud when people are walking above you. Don't live here if you have a car, you can't leave after 8pm unless you want to park 5 blocks away. I rented from fall 2015 through winter 2016. ...
