Great place to live, very friendly environment. Only one block south of campus. The ward is friendly and fun. REMS management is unprofessional but other great management companies rent out apartments as well. Two bedrooms, one bath. One bedroom is private while the other bedroom is shared. Rented from winter 2013 to fall 2013. ...

My management (MVM Rentals) was great, even though my rent was a little on the pricier side compared to other BDA apartments. Fully decorated, washer/dryer, HUGE private room, super close to campus. The ward is great and the least cliquey I've ever been to. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

I loved this place until it came to dealing with the landlord, Cathy. She is not very accomodating and was actually quite rude over the phone. At our last cleaning checks she said she would have someone come and re-caulk the bottom of our tub which was begining to pull away. Never happened. But mostly it's the rudeness that bothers me. No respect for her tenants. We are the enemy in her mind. THe place is great though. Well-kept and comfortable and a good price. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

Really liked the people. All the rooms are run by different landlords, so it's going to be different depending on where you stay; my landlord sucked. We had to go without hot water for almost a week because he "forgot" to turn it back on after botching a repair job that flooded the carpet, and my roomate and I were charged extra for moving in before our contract started, because the move in date is insanely late--a few days after school started. Watch out for that. Some of the apartments are way nicer than others. Mine was dingy but not gross or anything. Overall I enjoyed it, especially the people, although don't live on the first floor if you like natural light. It's like a dungeon down here. I rented from spring 11 through summer 11. ...

I lived in BDA 1 from September 2009 until August 2010. The parking spot is right next to the door to the apartment, and it's covered, so no worries about brushing off the snow or ice in the winter :) Very close to campus, and even a relatively short distance to Smith's. Loved the ward, there's always something going on, and it makes socializing super easy with all the girls living right next to each other. The landlord has local management take care of the place. They've always come straight over whenever we had something that needed to be fixed. Pretty much the best place I've lived while at BYU I rented from fall '09 through summer 10. ...

Only one parking spot per apt. VERY close to campus (shortcut). Ward is pretty awesome. Generally a lot of returned missionaries (male and female). 3 girls per unit. You can get really involved in the ward or be completed left alone depending on your attitude. Each unit is owned by a different person so they each vary quite a bit. Go look at different apartments since they all look different and rent at different prices. Washer and dryer in each unit. Dishwasher, etc. I stayed there for my last year at BYU and loved it. I rented from fall '08 through summer '09. ...

It completely depends on which apartment you are living in. Some of them are super nice and some aren't. But even those are still very livable. There's only three girls in each apartment which is nice if you like it quiet. There's a private room and a shared room. It's super close to campus. It's about a block and a half away, but there's a short cut that makes it like half a block away. There ward is really nice, but really spread out. The bishopric is amazing and hilarious. The bishop is british. It's really spacious. I think it's almost too cheap. There's even a washer and dryer in the unit and you don't have to pay for water! I really liked it. There's only one parking space for each apartment though. I rented from spring '08 through fall '08. ...
