Royal Farms is a mediocre apartment. It seems kind of expensive for the quality but it is pretty close to the mountains and freeway. It seems pretty safe, but it is kind of noisy. There are a lot of barking dogs and you can hear the neighbors talking and walking around. The neighbors are very friendly. There is a washer and dryer in the unit which is very nice to have, but it is kind of small so it's hard to do large loads. There is a dishwasher in the apartment but it doesn't work. Overall it's an okay apartment, the bedrooms are large, but it seems a bit expensive and old. ...

The manager, Jeanene, is an absolute nightmare! She is by far the worst thing about this apartment complex. She is very condecending and rude. She does not care at all what your concerns are, she just goes into a speach about what will happen if you try to leave without fullfilling your lease. Something was said about her not being nice and she insisted that she is very nice and she is up for some sort of manager award! I find that hard to believe considering the number of complaints about her specifically on this website alone. Assistant manager Vickie Griffiths is also very unpleasant to deal with. The only time you get treated with any respect is when you have a rent check in hand. They neglected a vacant apartment next to mine. The toilet broke and flooded the apartment so bad that nasty toilet water seeped into my apartment and soaked my carpet. Maintenance tore out the carpet pad and replaced it, but they just put blowers on the carpet. We had to argue with the people in the office just to get them to clean the carpet! Now there is a nasty smell where the carpet was flooded but they won't do anything about it other than to assure us that the leak "really wasn't that bad" and that mold doesn't grow in Utah.
