I lived here from April to August of 2015. This is definitely my favorite complex I've ever lived in! I lived in the main building which was nice being close to the laundry and lounge. The apartment was cute and everything was in good shape. (Lots of storage!!) The kitchen and living room furniture was all replaced while I was there, the new stuff is super nice! The parking lot isn't huge, if I came back after 10 at night I was definitely going to be parking on the street, but never had to go far. I love the ward, great people and a social atmosphere, people were always inviting to random activities on the facebook page. One of the nicest things about living here though is the management. I've never had such prompt and friendly management. You can tell she really cares and wants the tenants to be happy. She's always offering treats during special office hours and even through us a BBQ this summer. And when she's needing help with moving furniture or cleaning checks etc. she sends out an email offering to pay tenants willing to help. Cleaning checks for check out were thorough but fair, which is comforting to me because you know you're going to get a really clean place to live. I would totally live here the rest of my time at BYU if I hadn't got married :) ...

The apartments are old, but they seem to do a good job of updates and our apartment just got new furniture. The bedrooms are really big and have lots of closets. The landlord is nice. The reason why I moved is because there are very few parking spots for all of us that brought cars. They can't guarantee a parking spot unless you pay for a reserved one. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

DO NOT LIVE HERE! When I moved into the Brittany, it was so natsy. My mom and I scrubbed the place from top to bottom. The floors even changed color when we were washing it. Granted, it had been a boys apartment beforehand but still! The shower curtain had hair and crap all over it. Then I didnt pass cleaning check! The apartment looked 10x better. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

The manager is very friendly and helpful. She makes sure her tenants are taken care of and is happy to work with you with whatever you need. Maintenance was done quickly and efficiently once a request was submitted. It's kind of small but its doable even when living with strangers. The bathroom can get crowded if everyones trying to get ready in the mornings but having mirrors and convenient outlets in the rooms help. The close to campus location is nice and the ward is great. The other buildings in the ward are close and a lot of the social life comes from people in the ward. I would recommend living here. I rented from fall 10 through spring 11. ...

I love the Brittany! The best feature is definitely the size of the bedrooms/closets and how much storage there is. The ward is great, and even though the building's older everything works. Maintenance and landlord are also very efficient and nice! If you put in a work order it'll get done right away. I rented from fall 10 through winter 11. ...

Really good landlady, people are generally down to earth and relatively social, it just didn't blow me away. The apartments themselves are getting pretty old, but they are really good at maintenance requests. They're increasing the price, and I don't think they're entitled to, unless you think the location, which is quite good, is your deciding factor. Parking is tough if you come back late at night. The lounge is nice, as is the pool. ...

I lived here for two years straight and you will never find a better landlord. She is the nicest one around and truly cares about her tenants. Whenever I put in a work order, it took less than 24 hours for someone to fix the problem. Plus, she buys treats for when rent is due! The ward is very social and a good mix of ages. Church is at 11 am in the Life Science Building. Parking is a little sparse if you are out late but overall I've loved living here. ...

I really liked living at the Brittany- it's a 10 minute walk to campus, 20 minute walk from Smiths, less than a 5 minute walk to the Provo library, and about 5-10 minutes to walk into downtown Provo. Erin is an absolutely amazing landlady- she makes sure maintenance requests get done on time, and she emails you to let you know when it’s done (which is usually within a day). I've had a lot of landladies who were angry old ladies who refused to listen to any complaints and shut themselves in their offices, but Erin is the total opposite- she's constantly checking in via email to see how we like the apartments and if we need help with anything. She offers late night office hours the day rent is due so you can get it in on time, and she’ll have treats in the office for you. Parking is a downside though, the spots are narrow and there's not very much parking spots so if you come home past 10:30, you're going to have to find street parking. Parking permits are free though, so that’s a perk. The bathrooms are recently renovated, and here’s lots of storage/shelves in both the bedrooms and the living room. I rented from Fall '14 to Winter '15, and the only reason I'm leaving is I'm getting married. I pay about 315-320$ for rent. ...

When ever a problem occurred, the manager was quick to address the problem. The social life is great for single, dating, and/or engaged people. The walking distance to BYU is great. Smiths is only 5 blocks away. The only stinker is parking. There's not enough for everyone in the Brittany lot and the Provo streets get kinda full at times too. ...

I had so many dates and groups of friends, it was awesome! The pool was kept immaculately clean! The air conditioning was super cool in the summer! The manager was friendly, professional, and fun. I always walked to campus since it was so close. The ward had some of the best activities and spiritual leaders I have ever had. ...

I love how close it is to campus, as well as access to the lounge (with a piano, pool table, bishop's office inside, TV, DVD player, and Netflix) and swimming pool. It was clean when I moved in, and I like the double sink/vanity outside the room with the toilet and shower. Plenty of closet and shelf space for food. We got new management recently, and she is really great - not only super nice, but also quick to put in work orders for maintenance to come if anything ever needs fixing. She's also quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Fantastic ward (the main building)! Very social and not cliqueish at all, super friendly. ...

The apartments are fine, but you don't get what you pay for, especially since management has taken to upping the price every year. Utilities are usually about $20 per month, but rent can get steep when they randomly charge you for things (like when we were charged for carpet cleaning and then they never cleaned our carpets). There are cinder block walls and industrial carpet. The apartments, overall, are small and there is almost no storage and there is only one bathroom sink for four girls. However, the bedrooms are large and comfortable, and there is a nice open layout to the living area. In addition, the ward is fantastic (I lived in the four-plex on 700 N, so a different ward than the main building). Everyone is super friendly and there are always activities. However, management has been enough to keep me from resigning. The ladies in the office always seem nice and accommodating, but it's more to get you off their backs if anything goes wrong. It doesn't do any good to be nice and patient with them. The only way to get anything fixed is to either wait for weeks and weeks or to get mean and demand service. Also, they just remodeled the bathrooms, but everyone in the building has had trouble with the plumbing. There have been leaks, the toilets have randomly stopped running, as well as various other problems that have occurred. Because of the awesome ward and great roommates, I have had a very good experience this year, but I would not recommend the Brittany. I rented from Fall 2011 through Winter 2012 ...

At first it seemed like a nice place to live. But the lady that runs the place is never available at the same time twice. She's never there at the regular office hours, which are totally random and terrible anyway. Maintenance is nonexistent. The internet was out for a week 2 separate times while I was there, and we were without hot water entirely the last week of November. It was ridiculous. I rented from fall '09 through winter 10. ...

The Brittany...I chose to live here because I thought it was relatively cheap compared to other places around town. It seemed nice enough when I checked it out. Yeah, I got fooled. The apartment I was in smelled of mildew the entire time. My clothes always stunk because of the apartments nasty smell. My roommates and I cleaned the place a million times and couldn't get rid of the smell. In October we reported that the wood underneath the sinks was mildewing because the pipes were leaking. In December the maintenance crew came fix it. The place is simply run down. The landlady is really nice and does her best. Save yourself the trouble, spend an extra 25 bucks a month and rent from somewhere decent. I rented from fall '09 through fall '09. ...

(I rented Fall '08 to Winter '09) I would not recommend living here. Sure, the ward is great (although I'm not that involved), but the apartments are NOT that nice. When I first moved in, the apartment was still filthy from the previous occupants and I cleaned it all myself. Our garbage disposal stopped working soon after moving in, and after submitting a work order form and waiting a month without hearing ANYTHING and having dirty rotting water in our sink, I finally just messed around with it and got it to work. Bathrooms are VERY small, which wouldn't be as much of an issue if they were actually CLEAN. But they are in poor condition with mold growing on the ceiling. Also, our fan does not work. The bedrooms are big, and the beds are comfy, but that's really the only plus. Beds are on a wooden frame that goes all the way to the floor. No putting them up on blocks to give you extra storage space. So even though there's more closet space than most apartments, there really isn't more room. You just have to stuff your stuff into small closets instead of fitting it under your bed. One of the shelves in my bedroom fell down and broke a few of my roommate's possessions. Cinder-block walls are not very inviting. Very little counter space in kitchen. I paid 275/m plus about 25$ in utilities on average. 300/m is WAY more than this apartment is worth. Things break, take forever to get fixed (if anyone comes at all), and it's moldy and run down. If you really want to live in a good ward, live in the Presidio across the street. It's the same rent but tons nicer. I rented from fall '07 through winter '08. ...
