I have been at the Lanesborough Apartments now for almost two years. I do not remember who I signed up with in the beginning because the employee turnover rate was so high the first year I was a resident here. But I can honestly say amanda Pfeffer has been an amazing apartment manager. She is very dedicated to her job, and she handles even the toughest tenants with fairness and emotional stability. If Amanda were to leave, I'm not sure if I would stay. I rented from fall '08 through summer 10. ...

I lived in this apt for 2 years. When I moved in, the carpet was NOT new - disgusting to be honest. I personally steam cleaned it. I after one year, I resigned my lease, and at this time had the apt steam clean the carpet again. Since I lived there for 2 years, and the carpet was not new when I moved in, when I moved out there were a few stains on the carpet. The apartment kept my entire $400 deposit on move-out. I am still dealing with this and it has been 3 months. I was in contact with the corporate office, dealing with a woman by the name of Kim. I waited weeks for my "case to go to the board." After month, she told me that I would be receiving $180 back and the check had been sent. After 2 weeks and no check, I called back, Kim had been fired, and they then told me I would only be receiving $100 back. Long story short, they are a bunch of idiots, totally unorganized, and just want your money. I have heard a similar story from 3 other people who have lived in this apartment complex In addition, cars are broken into every night, the pool is always closed, after the hurricane it took almost a year to get any damage taken care of, the staff is rude, the gate is always broken. This place sucks!!!! I rented from spring '07 through summer '09. ...
