Me and my husband applied for a one bedroom there recently, gave them our 250 dollar deposit and waited patiently for a respone on whether we got accepted or not. About a week later (mind you, we had to call them four times, they don't call back!) they
told us that we were denied because of a misdemeanor that I recieved, and also because my husband had not been working at his job for 6 months. (He works for the city of Richland Hills). So, we accepted it and moved on, waiting patiently for our 250 dollar deposit to be returned to us. They said we would recieve it in 3-4 weeks, we waited 5, and then called. The manager (Patty) told us that we were not going to recieve our deposit back because we falsified information. On the forms, it asks you if you have a felony or a conviction, I have neither. I have a misdeamenor, similiar to a traffic ticket. We called and she put us off a few days. She then changed her mind and said it's because my husband has an eviction on his record, which he DOESN'T. We have now hired a lawyer and are taking the apartments to small claims court to get our money, plus interest back. They are liars, and they will do anything to keep that deposit!
