Living at The Homes of Parker Commons was a terrible experience. The apartment was infested with roaches. I could hear the neighbors snoring through the wall. People sat on the main steps smoking pot nearly every night. To top it all off, a faulty sprinkler system busted and flooded my apartment. My stuff was ruined and the apartment damaged beyond belief. Since I was gone at the time, the maintenance people went in, pawed through all my stuff, ruined even more, and stole my credit card. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. After that, they wouldn't let me out of my lease, even though the apartment was uninhabitable. When I left anyway, they sent me a bill for $1,500. Save yourself some pain and don't get an apartment here. I wish I hadn't. I rented from spring '09 through winter 10. ...
