I lived at Signature park for 6 months. I didn't have a working remote for the front gate for 2 months... until I made a really big deal about it. I paid a $235 security deposit and expected a full refund as I followed all the move out instructions and cleaned the unit, I even called afterwards to make sure everything was fine. A month later I received a Check for $78.05, with a confusing move out statement. I expected the $41.57 for Utilities, but they charged me $75 Cleaning Fees & $55 Carpet Cleaning. Apparently, it's Standard Operating Procedure to do so. They say it's part of the contract. However, I don't remember being told about such a clause, even though I specifically asked about return of the deposit on move-in. ...
