This apartment has relatively new management as they got rid of the terrible old management company about 3 years ago. The new management on the surface seems better but appearances can be deceiving. The problem for me started when everything in the apartment started to break down and they seems to lack the ability or interest to fix any of it. The large amount of problems are attributable to cheap construction/appliances and the apartments age in access of 10 years. The maintenance works have never done any preventive work to extend the life of the apartments or there appliances (air conditioning/ heating problems are very common). Now there getting ready to sell the place and seem double determined to do nothing so the new owners can inherit the mess. Also noticing a change of attitude of the management on the surly side when asking about repair work. Also be ready for a lot of college kids as neighbors, as the apartment is near the colleges on 242 (sometime 4 to 5 guys in one apartment) this causes a real shortage of parking spots (get home late be prepared to park your car a good distance from your front door) and a lot of late night noise. The other neighbors look like construction types, so my guess is the apartment does not do background checks on any residents or if they do they look the other way on extra tenants that are not on the lease.
