The "limited access gates" and "surveillance cameras", that they advertise to get you to sign a lease, DO NOT WORK! The management will advertise these features to convey that the complex is "more secure" than other similar complexes. That is laughable. During my stay at Savannah Oaks my car was broken into and robbed, 4 other vehicles were broken into and robbed, my and several others balcony's were vandelized, a puppy was murdered by a tenant, beers cans littered the complex, my outside plants were stolen twice, the walls are very thin (lots of noise from neighbors)and one of the many ferrel cats inhabiting the property attacked a small dog. In addition, the wooden walkways and decks throughout the property are rotten and nails stick out. These issues were rarely if ever fixed. The apartments are very expensive for what you get and the management was always rude. I rented from fall '03 through spring '08. ...
