First place my husband and I lived after getting married. Got in on a brief rent special on one of the older units, and loved what we were getting for that price: two bed, two bath, decent size kitchen with dishwasher and lots of cabinetry, washer & dryer hookups, outdoor patio area, central heat/ac, and working fireplace! And the most wonderful neighbors!!! Didn't want to leave all the friends we had made living there, but didn't want to start building our family in an apartment, so we bought. Unfortunately, pet deposits/fees/rent is a little high. Other people aren't as courteous about picking up after their dogs either. And maintenance can be a little slow about getting to things.
