This rental home does its job. Works well for a single family with a couple of pets. Layout of the home is a bit strange and doesn’t provide a lot of options for change. The property of the home is the most difficult. Sitting on a steep slope for a home, both rain and drought severely affect the yard. Heavy rain causes significant pooling of water at the base of the home in the back. Harsh drought impacts the yard further and leaves you with your own personal dust bowl. The mature trees on the back of the property are too crowded and this is causing some problematic issues as trees have begun falling and rotting. All trees on the property and with the neighbors have a incredibly heavy drop of leaves in the fall that become quiet a chore. Home owner is (understandingly) not very interest in making improvements to the property and home. We struggled with a rotting fence and partially downed fence during our time. The location of the home in the neighborhood is decent. We experience quite a bit of unsettling activity with some neighbors and usage of the cul-de-sac. Not to say that some neighbors are incredibly friendly and pleasant! Most neighbors are older couples and not many school age children are on the street anymore. Some vehicles drive worryingly fast, so do be careful with children and pets. We did enjoy the homes location in relation to Clarksville. Very easy to walk to Dunbar Park and enjoy the trails or a quick drive to downtown. The addition of a Publix very close by was very convient. ...
