Quiet building with great up-to-date apartments in their newly renovated building. From the outside the building has a historic feel from when it used to be a warehouse. When you step inside it feels new with some old accent that were kept from the
original building, like the exposed wall and piping. The views from the rooftop patio and individual balconies is very nice, with a great view of the practice football field and softball stadium. There is, limited, indoor and outdoor paid parking as well as a bus stop down the block. The building is an easy 10 min walk from the campus and 5 min walk from a mini target, casual fast-food, dine-in restaurants, and Starbucks. The complex is owned and managed by a couple who are very nice and considerate of their tenants and always try to do their best at responding to any problems in a quick and timely manner. One of the downsides is that the building is located next to a railroad and it can get a bit noisy from time to time, but has never been a problem for me in any way, shape, or form. There are quite a few other buildings and houses also located right along the railroad so it isn't a sole problem for just this complex but a few others as well.

Management is good at responding to unit issues and addressing repairs. Offers free bagels to all residents every Friday, which me and my roommates loved. Rooftop access and rent is very reasonable for its location.

The Northstar Apartments are amazing. My living room has a view of the football practice field, the baseball field, the softball field, and the track. If you are an athlete this is a prime location to be because it is across the street from the workout
facility and the dinning room. Even if you aren't an athlete this is a great location for you to live, you can walk to the center of campus in about 12 minutes and you will feel safe at night because you can walk through the athletic facility paths which are fully lit.
