When I got to the pickup area at the airport, I found out that I had just missed the 5:30 shuttle and the next shuttle would be an HOUR later. Eventually got to the hotel to be checked in by someone who had zero personality - less than friendly. As it
was dinner time, went to the one restaurant with a very limited menu. A hamburger and fries was US$25.00. If you wanted something more substantial you could get a steak or salmon for US$60. Service in the restaurant was also very so-so. No one was rude but no one made you feel as if they cared whether you were there or not. After dinner, I thought I would go check out the pool. You can imagine my surprise when I got to the entrance of the pool area and they told me I would need to pay US$20 (weekdays) or US$30 (weekends). I told them I just wanted to check out the pool area as I wasn’t wanting to use the pool at this time and I was told that I couldn’t even enter the area to take a look at it unless I paid. When I explained that I just wanted to look for a couple of minutes, the guy at the desk said, “I don’t care” and wouldn’t let me go. Unless you just have a thing for boutique hotels and don’t care about service, friendliness, and use of the amenities - stay somewhere else.

Former Resident
I lived in 2 Eagle Crest properties during my time at UMass. There are what is to be expected from a college rental. Location was great and a quick walk to campus and downtown. Not the cleanest apartment but it was good for what we needed. Maintenance
staff was friendly and prompt with maintenance requests.
