What happened to me violated the law, the lease, and Fair Housing laws. A LOT has gone horribly here. I hope to save others having traumatic experiences like me: being threatened w/assault; berated, demeaned, & yelled at by mgmt. There is NO help for you at LPC (Lincoln Property Co). They will send u back to the people who refused to help you to begin with. LPC WILL NOT HELP YOU! We all deserve to be treated like humans, to have a voice. LPC will do their best to rob you of both. A few wks into COVID, after losing my job, I was threatened w/physical assault by an upstairs neighbor & guest w/a kid after 11pm, who came to MY door (Police report confirms they came to CONFRONT me). They screamed: β€œI'm gonna beat your A-, get out here you scared B-, I'm gonna beat your A-!" repeatedly. I got a police report, submitted & reported to mgmt immed. From the start Mgr #JimSweet REFUSED to do HIS JOB of contacting other tenants to see what was heard/seen including a neighbor w/a Ring doorbell. He said to do it myself AND convince them to contact him. He berated me, yelling, "You DESERVED it! What'd you do to DESERVE it, huh, what'd you do to DESERVE it?" He wouldn't give me his mgrs contact info. I emailed corp. She, #DoreenRozman, refused to acknowledge what Jim did, address it, evict the tenant who'd violated the lease in several ways, one that requires only ONE offense, despite her lies 2 the contrary. She told me this & ignored any response from me. They acted despicably. This was one of MANY problems I had. I dealt with BLASTING music from a neighbor for 7 WEEKS, 6+ days/week, 3 times/day, 30 min-many hours. 12am, 2am, 5am. Staff wouldn't act for 7 wks. They let people use public hallways as ashtrays. They promised 3 big repairs before I moved in and did 0, and MUCH more. Most important: the lease only counts for some people. They let people violate it like crazy & do nothing, but will when convenient, use it as a WEAPON for others. RUN from Aventine! RUN from LPC! I rented from winter 2020 through fall 2020. ...

I am thankful... to leave Aventine. They took a very easy going, relaxed kind of person, and drove me to absolute frustration. The day i moved in my AC was broken. Took 4 days to fix as supposedly the maintenance manager was on vacation and no one could order the needed part. It went out two more times over the next several months, including an entire weekend in June with 90+ degree temps. I was told on a saturday "we'll get to it on monday"- ended up being wednesday...miserable. I couldn't access my garage. I was told "We'll look into it". By the following tuesday I hadn't heard anything, so I went back to the office and was told "we're working on it". Came back in on thursday and told the staff I've now been with out my work tools for work for a week, I have to get in tomorrow to get stuff. The office guy told me they could drill the lock out, and I asked how I would secure my things after they did that and he said they would have to order a replacement lock. So it would sit unlocked the whole weekend?? Same half-assed sorry they always give out. Sent in an email about the gate being open for 4 straight months, and was told by Chelsea the assistant manager "we don't guarantee the gate". So your new office renovations are more important than our safety??? I've seen 3 drug deals go down in the parking lot over the last month. Over too fast to call your resource officer or the cops as you suggested instead of working to gets the gates back online. Not to mention, of the 6 months I rented here, the clubhouse and gym were closed for 4 1/2 of them. I'm sure Chelsea would just say "not guaranteed!!" again. Once again I brought all this to the office staff for the 7th time in october, they finally sent someone out to replace the bulbs and fix the light from move in. Received an email that the Service request was closed out- the same day. I responded back that nothing had been done yet and it was quickly reopened with yet another "sorry". They came out the following day and "fixed" everything. The only reason I believe they came out to do anything was because I stepped on a piece of wire under the light switch where they were working and cut my foot open while walking into the room. Haven't gotten to use that light in 6 months now, but hey out all that for 6 months I did get 1 light bulb in the kitchen replaced! The most I've gotten out of anyone at this office is "sorry you've had a bad time here." -a now very upset customer I rented from winter 2018 through winter 2019. ...
