This by far has been the worst experience of my life!!! Dee Dee Alston, the property manager, is rude and unresponsive. Rich and his maintenance staff are clueless. They will charge you for anything they can possibly find to charge you for. They will place you with drug dealers and do nothing about it other then tell you that there is nothing they can do about it. The apartments are bug infested and contain mold. I have a recurring fungus growing on my body that only goes away after spending a few nights away from campus edge. Don't bother confronting management about any issues you may have. They do not care and do not want to speak to you. You must go through the line of dumb CCU students that work at the front desk who have no answers for you. Avoid this place at all costs. Campus Edge is a high crime area. I know of several apartments that were burglarized while I lived there, including mine. The management staff is incompetent and not the least bit concerned about the safety of their residents, particularly the manager Dee Dee Alston. Campus Edge is only concerned about collecting rent and charging fees for just about anything. If you are concerned about safety and need to rent a room while attending CCU, I recommend renting a room in one of the many condos around CCU. do not move here. the management only care about receiving your money. maintenance will come in to your room randomly and check if anything is broken and then without giving you a summary of what they find they will charge you before ever fixing the problem. the maintenance do not care if your there or not they will just come in. everyone is rude and do not care about you as a renter. the rooms are way over priced. there leases suck as well they charge you for a whole year rent and then say its academic year BS!!!! choose university place or wild wing. they are both close and much better than Campus Edge!
