I've lived in stonehaven for almost two years and when I moved here it was owned by a different company. In that time its changed hands at least four times. The company that currently owns it is run by horribly corrupt unethical people. They do nothing to take care of the buildings or apartments. Just living here is a huge invasion of privacy. They will enter your apartment no less than once a month for 'inspections' which is just ridiculous. I've never lived in another place that did that more than twice a year. If you complain about anything...for example people being extremely loud in the breezeways at three in the morning...every single night, you're more likely to get evicted than they are. The noise insulation between apartments is basically non-existent. You will hear everything that goes on around you. I know my neighbors schedule as well as I do my own. You are charged $50 if your rent is even one day late, and $100 after a week, at which time they also file eviction papers at that time. If you pay your rent late just two times in the span of a two year lease you'll have the office manager banging on your door every day demanding to know where their money is or when you're moving out. If you pay your rent late the number of inspections doubles...yes doubles for the next several months....they will find any excuse they can to enter your apartment and harass you. If I knew what I know now when I moved here you couldn't have paid me to live here. This place is by far the worst place I've ever lived and I've been absolutely miserable the entire time I've lived here. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Oh and the pet deposit is $200 PER PET! Plus a monthly fee. ...
