Shoe Factory Apartment in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This place is a NIGHTMARE! It is so bad, I am considering moving out BEFORE my lease is up, knowing full well that I will be accountable for the remainder of my lease. I have had no PEACE WHAT SO EVER, since moving in here June 2007. I am in apartment 304, The BOILER ROOM is off of my back bedroom wall. My bed VIBRATES, like a Cheap Motel 25 cent Bed vibrator and the Boiler is VERY LOUD! SO forget a descent nights sleep!! Then the EXERCISE ROOM is off my my back bedroom wall also. I can hear the people in there, every single word, as well as the machines running. Then there is the LAUNDRY ROOM one floor below me, when the washers go off balance, I can hear that as well. I am not talking about a normal noise range...I AM TALKING ABOUT LOUD!! My Bedroom is off of the STAIRWELL. I hear people and pets both, going up and down the steps. The Exercise room Laundry room Stairwell, Computer room are popular hang outs for the kids at all hours night and day! I have neighbors above me with dogs, that Management doesn't seem to think are that big. Trust me, when they run or play across the floors... my ceiling sounds like a herd of horses! The people like to stump, jump, bang and have other very "LOUD" noises. MY pictures are NEVER straight, My nicknacks in my shadow boxes have fallen out a time or two. And I have had DIRT fall from the ceiling all over me, my pets and my apartment MANY TIMES. Kids playing and running in the hall ways. COmputer room hours limited because the kids get in there and play and tear things apart. Where is the Adult Supervision??? The Exercisse room will be next! We have had our van scratched, keyed, air let out of the tires and decorations torn off MANY TENANTS-not just mine. I get noise in Stero from above me, below me and across from me. If you want security-peacefulness and rest, feeling of a "Home", DO NOT RENT HERE!!! So many of us are complaining and we have had little to no results. Oh and best of all, when I applied to live here, management knew I was handicapped. She put me on the 3rd floor! But she will waive the dog size and limits!! We have many fire alarms pulled here and a neighbor actually complained, that I held them up on the stair case during one of the fire alarms pulled. WHich always is in cold or rainy weather and seems to be about the same time that kids leave for school. This is not just my opinion, many of us here have discuss the issues. Like I said, with little to no results. So PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIVING HERE. I pay 720.00 for a two bedroom. My friend pay 765.00 for a one bedroom. Now tell me, what would you really like to do when living some place??? I rented from summer '07 through summer '08. ...
