The leasing office staff was very helpful and helped me to get a lease as quickly as possible. There were a few issues regarding maintenance (broken shower head broken lock) but the staff was able to fix it quickly and didn't even need me present to do so. The apartment is decently sized and a good bargain for the price. I love having a heater/AC built into my room as that is not something I have back at my Mom's house. The wifi could be better though as it is awfully slow at some points. ...

The only issue I’ve had here is the internet being slow but it is definitely better than campus internet. Other than that the staff is nice, the property is kept clean, you get your own place to park right in front of your apartment and you can choose to only live with one other person if you would like. ...

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Walls are paper thing. You can always hear whoever lives above or below you walking, talking and playing music. You can even hear them flush the toilet or run the washer. The wifi is over crowded and very hard to access during busy times of the day. It is also next to a very loud highway. These places look nice but were built as cheap as possible. I will not live here again. I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...

This is my second year living at the EDGE and it is by far the best place I have stayed here in KU. I have also lived on main street so I can compare the two and say that this is much more convenient. I saw other reviews about overage charges for electricity, and it absolutely sucks to be charged an extra bill. But, I found out it's really the electric company because they only come and check the usage for the apartments every 3 months or so and they split it evenly between the tenants. Even with the overage charges it was nothing in comparison to what I was charged in town- although the place I had was very large my payments there were for the place ONLY and didn't come with anything included like it does here (washer/dryer,dishwasher parking,wifi,use of gym/tanning etc). Plus, you each have your own bedroom and bathroom which was my favorite not having to worry about my room mates.The walk is only a mile from campus so if you have to walk to campus it was about the same for me. I hope this review helps anyone and take into consideration that everyone has different experiences with off-campus housing. ...

This is by far the worst place I have lived at while I have been a student at Kutztown. I do not recommend this place to anyone and I never will. Looks are completely deceiving at the edge and everything comes with the apartment is made very poorly. Also, You pay $675 A MONTH to live here and after the school year is over they decide to bill you your overchargers for the year instead of after that month was completed and they saw that you went over the allowance. They also continently billed after everyone had signed their leases for the following year so now they are stuck living there even though it is way too expense for them. Also, they do not break the bill down for you to tell you what exactly you are paying for and they expect your payment (for example, mine is $125) to be paid in a week and a half notice. Do not live here you are better off living off campus. Not to mention it is in the worst location in the entire town distance wise and is right next to a highway that is extremely loud. ...

DO NOT LIVE HERE. They over charge you monthly for utilities but they do not tell you what utilities you overuse. They do not fix any maintenance issues. They wait until you resign your lease or other people sign their lease to give your overdue fee. DO NOT LIVE HERE. ...

Absolutely terrible! They take advantage of college students by charging them almost 2000 a month for 3 people charge 15 dollars a month for parking and are never available to do maintenance. Things break so easily in the apartment and when move out time comes they expect you to clean the carpets yourself. If not they charge you 130 of your security deposit to high apparent rich cleaners. Other things are never any parking even with a pass and you can hear parties right through the very thin walls and floors. Save your money from these thieves and find an apartment 10 minutes from the campus because you can get cable Internet and electric along with rent a hell of a lot cheaper than what they charge. ...
