I moved to Pittsburgh and into my unit (apt 1b) in February (2021) and at first it seemed like a place that had potential, decent management and overall ideal location in Pittsburgh. It’s now May and I can honestly say that I regret signing a 12 month lease here. The overall construction of this place is very cheap (looks very nice on photos) you can hear every unit in the building from inside your unit. I literally listened to the couple above us watch a movie because of how thin and cheap the drywall is, if any one beside or above you is walking to bathroom the sound is like they’re literally in your apartment walking. Riva ridge manages this property and before our property manager, Lindsey, created an emergency number she made it very clear to contact her (I’m assuming) personal phone (because it’s the only number I had for her) with any issues.. contacted her with issues and to my luck it turned into an argument thus causing her to create an emergency line that she made clear to only contact with real emergencies (I assume not being able to utilize a feature I pay monthly for isn’t deemed necessary nor emergency enough for her and riva ridge) overall, location is pretty cool, love the neighborhood and people in neighborhood but the building wasn’t properly renovated and will only cause whoever moves in on a floor where people or above or beside (which is every unit) headaches and problems. I’m currently looking to sublease my unit so I can get out of here so by all means if you really want to rent here please contact me 412-720-3115 and let’s get you in so that I can get out! ...
