All management from Jason, Dottie, Heidi are ignorant and not the most genuine people. Dottie and Heidi are probably the most rude. While Jason is a passive aggressive male who can't handle conflict. He crawls like a he has a broken candle stick stuck up his rear-end. Not a person of his word. He is not to be trusted. He might be Heidi's boss but she knows she wears the pants in the relationship. Lol! This place lacks safety and storage in the units. This place is designed to nickel and dime you. Stay for a year or two if you must but get a house it's worth it. You only need a 580 credit score. Stop renting. Think of all the money being wasted when you rent. You have NOTHING to show for it when you move. All you did was make them richer. I rented from fall 2011 through fall 2019. ...

It seemed very peaceful at first. I live in a top floor with a toddler downstairs and he runs through the house on a regular and my whole apartment shakes upstairs. You can hear everything from the bottom floor on the top floor. The size is very small no closet space. No space for kitchen equipment. To go in and out the top B apartment you must walk up the step to open and close the door because there is no space for you to stand. My 20 year old son came to visit who is a young African American man. Instead of security asking him questions while he was lost. Security alerted police and harrasssed him while he walked my dog for me because I was sick. They stated he looked suspicious and there had been a rash of robberies I knew nothing about. His only crime was walking while black. Mice and roaches are a huge problem. They have come to exterminate my apartment and filll holes where the vermen get in more then 7 times in a year in a half. Not just your everyday regular roaches but the American cock roach that also flies they are huge and intimidating. Also there are squirrels inte attic I have complained of at least 4 times. They will address your problems immediately yet the solutions do not correct the problems. They should have inspected the apartment before I moved in for all the cracks and holes all around the base of the apartment stairs and closets. Especially since I pay for an upgraded unit. I do not recommend this place. I forgot to mention I found a hyperdermic needle I disposed of myself out of fear that children including my 10 year old would get hurt. I've come home from work with a strong stench coming form the apartment downstairs causing my eyes to burn and headaches for me and my child. They reglazed the floor of the apartment underneath me with no notification and toxic fumes where irritating us. They told me to open my windows after I complained. The response was for me to open the windows in my apartment on one of the coldest days of the year. Also I have turned on my faucet with brown water coming from it. When I complained they stated they were doing maintenance. None of these things were communicated to me until after my complaints were made. I rented from summer 2015 through spring 2017. ...

Well we were the one of the few white married couples in the complex and believe me we were made aware we were not welcome. Our vehicle was vandalized with paintballs as well as Neighbors letting us know we don't belong :( the worst was my wife being harassed at the laundry facility prior to having our vehicle vandalized and was actually pursued by two men leaving the facility till she produced her phone and began calling the police. Only then they left her alone and we stopped using the onsite laundry facility. Other residents are very standoffish even to a friendly "good morning". If you own a large or wide vehicle buy extra mirrors because they will be hit, it would be actually be cheaper to explain to any concerning police officer that it is not worth replacing because they will simply be hit again. Though the explanation did not spare us a ticket or the increased insurance premiums. Security personal employed by the complex are only tasked with enforcing the spot and tow policy the complex vigorously enforces not actually providing any security to the complex. Lets note the complex is orientated right on the boarder of North East Philadelphia which is a "charming" area of town. The Resident life office is only open during the week and only till 5pm. Meaning if you actually have job you will not be able to voice these issues with the staff for they do not work weekends. If you miss your payment you will be charged $90 initially then it will increase if nonpayment persists. They will push you to sign up for Auto-pay to avoid this then you will be charged $25/Month on top of your rent for the "convenience". Leaking shower and kitchen faucet were reported and never fixed. Non the less despite your repeated documented request they will doc your security deposit for the repair when you do finally call it quits and accept the fact you need to move. Being told in a cavalier manner by their staff to "come and get your security deposit back" meaning Sue Us go ahead will be your comforting goodbye. I rented from fall 10 through fall 11. ...

I lived in Lynnewood Gardens for 2 years. I also have friends that have lived there. Finding parking was not so bad the first year but is considerably getting worse as more renters are moving in. Very hard to find parking at night. Also, our new car got hit on the bumper a couple of times by people who can't parallel park. Many of the staff, especially in the office, are not very friendly. They seem very bitter and probably hate their jobs. There's a lot I can write about but I mainly wanted to warn people who are considering moving to Lynnewood - the rent may seem cheap in the beginning, but that's just a way for them to lure you in. They will charge you for everything and anything that they can and get you in the end..so beware! You have to mail your rent to their central office in NY. My rent check got lost in the mail once and I was charged a $75 late fee. You can spend as much time and effort cleaning your apartment and getting it to the same move in condition but they will still find ways to charge you a ridiculous amount of money. Please look somewhere else! I rented from fall '06 through fall '08. ...
