Power goes out every summer for few days. Maintenance is very poor. Dirty Carpets in lobby. They spent money and efforts on leasing office and keep the office looking good. Since the new management company has taken control, things are really bad. They
donβt return phone calls and care about residence. Parking is not sufficient. You have to park far away from apartment or park in fire lane and get a ticket. Eagle ridge apartments is most expensive in Monroeville but you donβt get that kind of service.
I rented from summer '07 through summer '08.

The apartment was great, the sports facilities were convenient, and it was nice to live near a shopping area. However, I lived at Eagle Ridge for one year, and my overall experience has led me to declare that I will never live there again, and will
caution everyone against it. Here are my reasons:
1. The management will mislead you if they can get more money because of it. A reminder was sent out with the deadline to renew your lease. I took this to mean the deadline to renew or decline your lease. It was my fault for taking them at face value and not checking my lease contract, but it was still upsetting. I had to stay an extra month, and pay the monthly rate ($890) instead of extending my lease by one month at the rate of $775. I was very upset with the extra expense in addition to all the normal moving expenses.
2. I am currently in a dispute to get my security deposit back. The lease contract states that if the apartment is clean, you will receive your deposit within 30 days. My inspection checked out, and after nearly two months Iβm still trying to get them to send me my security deposit. They donβt return my phone calls, and come up with every possible excuse to not pay me. I am going to have to go there in person with my security deposit receipt in hand to get it back. The frustrating part is that while there are several consequences in place when a resident breaks the lease contract, there is no punishment for Eagle Ridge when they break their own contract, as in my case. So this review will have to serve.
These reasons lead me to conclude that the Eagle Ridge management does not care about their tenants at all, only about getting money from them. When I lived there, I was surprised with the constant announcements of receiving between $300 and $500 if you successfully recommended Eagle Ridge to someone else, but now I understand. The only way they can get a good recommendation is to bribe their current residents.
I rented from summer '06 through fall '07.
