As a young female who lives alone, safety and affordability are my 2 biggest worries. I live in a very affordable studio with pretty reasonable services. Maintenance doesn't' make appointments but does respond in a timely manner. Penn police is also always around which makes me feel a lot safer. The walk to campus isn't bad either and gives much access to public transportation. I have never seen pests or rodents in my 4 months living here, even within a large building with many tenants, which is something I definitely appreciate. I have a walk in closet, which allows me to use my studio for a living/office space. I also have a separate kitchen in another room which makes my apartment feel a lot bigger.
