I lived at The 2900 from 2022 to 2023, and my experience was extremely frustrating. Initially, I was placed in a co-ed apartment, but around Halloween, management suddenly changed their policy and told me I could no longer stay there. I was forced to
move mid-semester, which was very disruptive. They moved me into a new apartment, and now, almost a year later, I’m being charged for damages that were already there before I even moved in.
I left the unit in the same condition I received it and paid all my rent—including June and July—even after I had moved out in May. Despite having a $0 balance at move-out, I’m now being contacted by a collections agency for bogus charges. This is not the first time this happened either—while living there, I constantly had to go to the front office to get fake charges removed from my account.
It seems I'm not alone either—other former tenants have reported the same experience. Be very cautious before signing a lease here. Poor management, surprise policy changes, and shady billing practices make this a place I would not recommend to anyone.
