MOUNT VERNON APARTMENT IS ONE OF THE WORST PLACE IN OKLAHOMA CITY! We have a long list of things that have been needed to be fixed and NO ONE will come to fix it!!! Its sad to say but this IS THE TRUE! My neighbors across the hall and downstairs both moved out because maintenance wouldn't fix problems in the bathrooms that lead to mold and unsafe living conditions. Roaches are a problem. Pest control does not visit anymore. Water sits in the laundry room for days at a time, stagnates, and smells up the hallways. The grass grew knee-high during the summer and spring because they didn't mow from the time they took over and mowing is such a simple way to make a place look livable. But that was too much for the management here. Most of the time I when I call the apartment office, the phone simply rings, the few occasions the phone does pick up, it is an answering service that simply relays messages to the management and are useless in emergency situations. To be honest I never seen the security guard around! Wall paint is cracked in joints and corners where repairs were done improperly. Be careful with that because they will show a model apartment very nice and very clean but this is until you move in that you will realize that nothing has been done into your apartment!!!Carpets are very, very old and stained and cleaning by maintenance is grossly inadequat.The carpet is very old and it's coming up.
