Apartment sucked. Never fixed any problems with the apartment. As long as Gelk owns it do not rent I rented from summer 10 through winter 11.

Do not be fooled. The apartments are spacious, and the landlord and his staff seem very nice, willing to make any repairs necessary, etc. However, the building is disgusting and those who run the place are impossible. We have roaches, and had bed bugs. The bed bug situation was not dealt with in an efficient manner, so I am willing to bet they are elsewhere in the building, living in the walls, and so on. When repairs are needed, those who deal with them are inexperienced bums who do a lousy job. When they need to come by to make a repair, show the apartment, and so on, they hardly ever give any notice, they just show up. This place sucks. Do not live here, or anywhere else under GELK Properties. I rented from fall '08 through fall '09. ...
