I stayed here for about a year. the ceiling in the apartment leaked everytime the snow melted or it rained. they kept saying that it would be fixed. my light fixture got filled with water and the manager told me it happens all the time and its not a problem, as the lightbulb is sitting in the water. the owner admitted it was a problem spot for years. still not fixed i guess. the apartment manager is nothing short of immature. i was told by tenants that she was telling people rude and untrue things about me. my apartment was filthy when i moved in, things in the cuppboards like dog food and pans. manager got mad and told me it was cleaned. i eventually piled up the things and brought them down to her desk. the carbon monoxide detector went off at about 10pm and we had to call the fire department ourselves. the manager wanted to charge us for the visit from the fire department. the batteries on it were dead or it was a faulty unit. months later when i moved out it was still sitting in the same place with the dead battery laying next to it. parking is a huge hassle, i had 2 cars, they only allow 1. i either had to figure out what assigned spot was vacant or park in the entry way to the complex. i got a couple parking tickets while i was there. i was counting down the days till i moved out. only good thing was it was cheap. this management company owns several apartment complex's, stay away from apartments niagara.
