Feels very safe compared to the rest of Troy, but would still not recommend walking around alone after dark. Noises: ambulances to the hospital nearby, some fire trucks and police vehicles in the distance (normal city noises), trucks going up the big hill at night, cars going to the YMCA down the street very early in the morning, lawn mowers or leaf blowers in the mornings/afternoons, and really loud crows. Cities are loud places, being on campus was only slightly quieter. The grounds are decent, there are many grassy areas and walkways, several benches, and some outdoor tables. Maintenance and the exterminator are very nice. Decent price when you share with a roommate, singles are a bit pricy to pay on your own. ...
