Awful Place Run By Horrendous Criminals Short Hills Gardens is an over-priced rodent-infested slum. The people who run the place are criminals who routinely break into tenants' apartments. The heating rarely works and when it does the temperature frequently exceeds 85 degrees Fahrenheit. They claim that they don't allow pets which is important to me since I'm allergic to dogs and cats but there are over a dozen tenants that I know of who have cats that roam all over the grounds and management won't do anything to get rid of them. The landscaping is terrible, there are signs warning people to keep off the grass but all there is is dirt with a few patches of weeds. The parking lot has gigantic potholes everywhere and people often park illegally in ways that make it extremely dangerous just to walk to your car. The laundry room is always flooded and the machines have never worked in the years I've been here. Worst of all, if a tenant complains to management about any problem at all they either ignore the complaints entirely or they simply deny there's a problem, even when those problems could put lives in danger.
