As I am nearing the end of my stay in this wretched place, I think think back of all of memories I will never forget. The broken sliding door, only one pain of glass remaining in the so-called thermal door. We moved in, in November but beucase they had to order it, the door was not replaced untill March. I imagine in my head there was only one man who hand-made these doors, I mean why else would it take many months to replace. In the beginning of December came the next adventure, all of a sudden my doors would not close and I noticed the floor looked funny, later to find out that was the pipe that was leaking and spraying the bottom of my floor. They stopped the leak and the floors went down some, but to really fix the floors I had the awesome option of leaving all of my belongings outside behind my apartment. What a great option this would be, not only leaving my belongings outside for all neighbors to steal but it was also December, so I'm sure nothing would get ruined. The next treat we got was right around Christmas, this was the first time our upstairs neighbor's bathroom leaked into our bathroom. The most awesome part of this, it had been happening for a while, so instead of fixing the leak, the genius maintainance guys just replaced the drywall ceiling. To this day it still leaks in. They finally just cut a tiny whole in the ceiling to direct the water down the wall. My other favorite is when ever my neighbors kitchen sink backs up, it backs up right into my kitchen. I learned the hard way, my toaster or coffee maker can not stay on my counter. I love the cheap doorknobs they use, my favorite was the time that the knob fell off locking me inside, to which the maintainance guy told me he could not get there that night to help me since he was in the property in Eatontown. I explained that the back sliding door does not open due to rust and after hemming an hawing he finally came hours and hours later. His nasty attitude made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Another perk is everytime I take a shower if one of my neighbors flushes the toilet I am scaleded. As you can see in an earlier review someone mentioned the fire due to the faulty furnace that some idiot maintainance guy messed with, well the wonman giving us the tour lied and told us the fire was due to someone grilling on their front porch. If you are ever looking for honesty this is not the place for you. They don't answer the emergency line, they don't come when you call. Snow removal is supposed to be included in our rental agreement, it is one of the reasons we pay so much for this heaping pile of s'. They don't bother to come around during the snow, even though there are many elderly and disabled residents. When they finally do come they bury your car in snow and only make one tiny path that only keeps you in one tiny path. Oh yeah if the outside stair rails rust and fall off I imagine they should be replaced. I wonder how their insurance company would feel if they knew they weren't replaced. This is only a few of the highlights, when I am away from home I constantly worry that this place will either completly fall apart or I will come home to some fire caused by this faulty 40 year old building or their maintaince staff, who thinks nothing of painting apartments with all the windows shut and leaves it that way. I speak from the bottom of my heart when I warn you to stay away. The heat and hotwater included does not make this place worth it. I rented from fall '07 through winter '09. ...
