Dan and Kathy have been great since I’ve moved! Always responsive and are quick to fix my issues. Area and my neighbors are very quiet. Great place to stay and would 100% recommend everyone to move here.

So not worth moving here. The managers wife is constantly looking to cause trouble with tenants and calls the police over trouble she started. Kathy the managers wife starts trouble and blames tenant kids for dirty windows on the doors coming into the building. Another tenant Audrey stalks everyone coming and going and watches what to see what they are doing and reports it to the managers. The managers constantly look to cause trouble and start arguments and blames the tenants for it. Repairs don’t get done, pipes are always banging, bathtubs are always backing up when the toilet is flushed and no matter how many time you report it the problem never gets fixed. We can’t do dishes by hand because the sink backs up and when it drains slowly it drains into the dish washer. Then we can’t run the dish washer because that then backs up into the sink and also leeks soapy water out of the bottom of the dish washer all over the floor. When we reported the problem we get told it’s a moderate problem and don’t send anyone to fix the problem. ...

They say this place has satellite, and is smoke free. This is so fat from the truth, I didn’t get satellite and people smoke under your windows all the time so you can’t have your windows open unless you want the cigarette smoke coming into your apartment. To top it off people cook things out on the grill and you get the fumes in your apartment. The manager wants you to put your rent check in there mailbox. Putting something into someone else’s mailbox is a federal offense. Manager doesn’t do repairs, then wants you to give them a good review when you move out. This place is and always was a dump. This place is falling apart because repairs are not being done. The manager and his wife are highly unprofessional, and cause trouble for tenants, they stalk you and have other tenants stalk you. Dogs barking and running the hallways, managers wife is a bitch and starts trouble with tenants then lies and says the tenant started it. The building are falling apart because nothing gets fixed unless you call the board of health on them. Every time you or someone else flushes the toilet it backs up into the bathtub. I would not recommend this place. The manager and his wife are unprofessional. The managers wife has it against people of color, and had to be taken to court because of it. Stay away from this place. The manager and his wife can net be trusted. The manager goes into your apartment without permission or knocking. Bothe the manager and hie wife will tell your business to other tenants in all buildings and those tenants then talk and spread everything they hear to others even the mail carrier. Managers wife in incompetent for this position, always starting trouble with tenants then lying say that she start it and that the tenant did. She lies all the time the always has that one tenanant that she is constantly with shooting the shit when she should be working. The manager doesn’t do repairs when they need to be done. Ceilings have mold and mildew growing on them, sewage is backing up and nothing gets done when it’s reported. I would not recommend barker Ave apartments to any one. Stay away from this place, ...

Managers wife attacks residents and starting trouble for them then lies and says the tenant was at fault then calls the cops on them. These people have no respect for anyone and doesn’t care if they have a heart problem. If something needs to be fixed it takes them months sometimes years to fix. Several times when things needed to be fixed the manager didn’t fix it until it was a problem for the person under you. You can’t trust nor can you believe these people. Management is awful, they go into your apartment unannounced, never knocking, several times when my girlfriend was there alone taking a shower or sleeping and they make it look like you are the bad one. They lie through there teeth.
