This is the worst place I have ever lived. One would think that when you move into a dated complex and spend the same amount of money to live there as you would in a brand new place, that there would be some redeeming factors. There are not. I have to walk my laundry to another building because there is no laundry in my unit or building. I have had loud partying neighbors that had 30+ people over every night keeping me up until 3am and nothing was ever done about my complaints until they finally moved out on their own months later. They have been doing work on the dated and failing buildings and property and their workers are making loud noises outside my windows as late as 9:45pm on weekdays and as early as 7am on weekend mornings. They have requested money from me that was already paid on more than one occasion. Their bookkeeping has been horrible. The biggest issue is maintenance. They never come when they say they will come. They never fix anything right the first time. I have had to take hours off from work to be here only to be stood up on multiple occasions. They don't seem to care about the issues going on. They may be understaffed but I pay to not have to concern myself with their staffing issues. One of my recent calls to ask why something was not done when it was promised to be done many times, was met with the apartment manager throwing in my face that I had a small balance on my account of like $50 that I was prompt to pay within 24 hours of her mentioning it. I just thought how interesting it was that, instead of taking responsibility for their horrible service, they chose to try to make me look like one of their tenants that doesn't pay my bills. Nothing is further from the truth. When I pay to live someplace, I simply want to pay my bills and be left alone by neighbors and management. If a maintenance issue arises, I EXPECT for it not to be my problem to deal with for weeks at a time, while they do not show up or continue to say things are fixed when they are not. I should not have to go through as much as I have in order to simply live someplace where my apartment is functional and I have some peace and quiet. I rented from fall 2013 through spring 2016. ...
