Where do I begin? This apartment complex is under new management, and they started off strong, but this review is purely based on management decisions. While the staff are cordial and much better than the last, there are still MANY problems. 1. Instead of only allowing the use of the white key fobs to open the door and the garage they continue to allow codes to be used which allows virtually everyone to know the access to our buildings and garage. The codes also regularly don’t work so you’ll find yourself walking all around the building trying to get in if you don’t have your white key fob. 2. The elevators in the garage are regularly out of service. This is a known issue. Sometimes it takes weeks to return to service. 3. The older apartment buildings truly stink and smell of weed and cigarettes even though they’re all “non-smoking”. They also smell of trash very often. 4. The air filters are not regularly replaced I’ve only had one in two years, and any request takes forever to fulfill. I literally heard another resident on the day I’m writing this talk about how she has emailed, walked in the office, and called repeatedly to have her garbage disposal replaced which still hasn’t happened. 5. There are serious water leaking issues in Cobb and possibly other buildings. I was asked twice by maintenance if my apartment had a leak because the business below me had water coming in on two different occasions. Also, during heavy rains I’ve had water leak onto many items of furniture and one time my apartment literally flooded because of the poor windows and building care and maintenance. This happened to another person as well shortly after she moved in that has posted a review online. They gave me a fan to help dry my things but offered nothing off my rent for my time and effort to clean up my stuff that was caused due to their poor building maintenance. 6. Dog poop bags are not replaced often and they always expect the poop to be picked up. We pay for those bags so they should always be available. 7. The rent is going even higher to manage all the new services they have instituted for what is definitely NOT a luxury apartment. A one bedroom shouldn’t cost $1800-1900 here. It isn’t worth it. 8. The pools were not ready in some buildings until basically now. It’s the end of June. 9. They regularly don’t answer the phone and are chronically understaffed which ultimately trickles down to the residents. 10. The walls are paper thin and you can guarantee they’re many young students that will party until 2 or 3am and you will hear everything in Cobb and O’Brien or any other of the old buildings. 11. AND THIS IS THE BIGGEST REASON NOT TO LIVE HERE, ultimately decisions made make living here for residents more difficult. My final example…. I’m moving out today. There’s only one entrance near my apartment which I already have to use an elevator to get to. Instead of allowing me to pull the truck up the loading bay ramp and hence roll right on the truck, I have to go to stairs unload all boxes and carry them to the truck. They’re pressure washing today too. I was told that I could park there and block the pressure washing which benefits all residents because I’m more important than that, but as a resident you’re aren’t too important because they changed what could be a two-three hour job into a six hour or seven hour job of even more back breaking labor than it has to be. We truly are really “important”. I wouldn’t have even written a review if it weren’t for move out day. I was just happy to be leaving a chronically mismanaged property, but this truly was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Take me advice and understand that NO amount of close proximity and convenience is really worth living here. Live somewhere else there’s plenty of new apartments being built. ...

Constant management turnover, lots of confusion, weird mail system. No screens on the windows, which in NC means lots of bugs entering your home in the spring, summer, and fall. Gym is very basic but fine. Always felt secure in the buildings.
