If I could give zero stars I would happily do so. I ignored the many reviews I read and people who told me these owners RIP PEOPLE OFF. I lived here for a year and kept my apartment spotless. Pat and Virgil Jones NEVER fixed anything I needed them to on time - at one point I had to go 10 days showering at friends' houses or the gym because they wouldn't get someone to come look at my shower. Before you think about moving here, read the lease. These people are absolutely insane and I should've ran while I had the chance. I was charged MORE than the deposit I paid even though I spent 8+ hours on 4 Saturdays cleaning this place because I heard the horror stories about the ridiculous charges they make up to take young people's money. This charge was on top of the carpet cleaning service they make their tenants pay once a year. PLEASE whatever you do - do NOT move to these apartments or you WILL be ripped off by the thieves that are landlords. I rented from fall 2016 through fall 2017. ...

I have been far from impressed with Lexington crossing apartments. The porches are poor designed and it seems as if they keep adding random pieces of wood on them for support. The rent isn't outrageous, I've paid more at other complexes but I don't feel as if I'm getting my money's worth. The landlord is nice, but I'd rather have a mean landlord that actually gets things done. There have been four times I've needed assistance and nothing has come out of any of those times. Seriously, nothing. I was under the impression that there was a strict no pet policy so I left my dog in stl where I'm from with my parents, but for some reason everyone seems to have dogs and apparently management is aware of this. I'm confused because she told me they love in sikeston, which doesn't make sense because you're managing 50 apartments in cape. Parking is far from ideal, I've had to park my car in a nonparking spot over night because there isn't enough. I chose this place because I feel safe and I'm a single woman, however I definitely learned my lesson to do more research. I do not plan on staying here and I'm looking forward to when my lease is up. I rented from summer 11 through summer 11. ...

I will admit the landlord is picky about the cleaning, but I did a walk through and she will allow you to clean anything you missed. I received all of my deposit back. They do not come in whenever deemed necessary. They send an email before they come so if you aren't aware, it is your own fault. I rented from summer 11 through summer 11. ...

Horrible building, like a broke down hunk of junk in a shiny wrapper. For a fairly new building, an incredible number of things were either broken or incorrectly installed when I moved in. Worse staff, felt free to come on in at any time, slow to fix anything if ever, out and out lied about everything including who actually owns the apartments. Run by a husband and wife who don't seem to communicate so you tell one and the other has no idea. Especially rude, the name calling husband who runs it seems to take a shine to the young ladies of the complex. Lease agreement designed to overcharge upon leaving regardless of how clean things are. This place is a complete scam. Beware! ...

Very hastily built. The walls and floors are paper-thin. I can hear every stomp and bang that my neighbor makes. They have a dog that they leave for extended periods of time. The barking is unbearable. Management feels ok with coming in at any "necessary" time. Definitely wouldn't extend the lease, or recommend living here to anyone. ...
