DO NOT LIVE HERE! My son moved in Aug. 1 and discovered a large hole in the living room ceiling, along with all the other broken things. They lied and told us it was an HVAC issue. We just visited and now there are whole sections of the walls and ceiling missing, exposed insulation hanging everywhere, they can’t use their kitchen because they had to empty their cabinets so those could be shored up, and half the living room ceiling is cut out so they could make structural repairs. No HVAC has been fixed, this is a structure issue. This unit is uninhabitable and yet, my son and two roommates are living there with no refund of rent. These conditions are code violations, unhealthy and unlivable and show no signs of being repaired. The giant holes have been there for weeks. Along with the other issues when they moved in like the wasp nest with wasps INSIDE the unit, broken screen door, broken dishwasher and kitchen light, bath vent and front door lock and laundry room shelf. This place is a dangerous, unhealthy dump. ...

Live active is a nice apartment, but you can never break the concrete under no circumstances, even if we are on your death bed. A sublease is the only way to get out of the concrete, and in covid it was almost impossible to find one, because students are not coming in, classes are online, and they do not let you pay for collateral, an extra month of two after leaving the apartment. You will still be charged monthly, with a late fee even if you are no longer staying in the apartment and have returned the key to the office. You will be charged until the last month your contract ends. It is insane, and they will take you to court without hesitating. ...

This apartment has the worst management ever. One says says one thing and the other person says something else. They charged me fines for rents that I had paid a month earlier and while moving out charged me for holes in the doors which were already there when we first moved in and also the sticky kitchen cabinet which was there when we moved in as well. Very poor management and maintenance too. They hiked up the price this year and have not really renovated most of the apartments. And I also had a problem with the bedbugs which cost me a lot in terms of my furniture and clothes. I rented from summer 10 through summer 11. ...

This place is just like my previous reviewer stated. Full of unfulfilled promises. I moved in with a promise of new carpet and have yet to receive it. They sent us a notice saying we'd have new windows the next day and had to move all of our furniture at least 6 feet away from all windows. Another lie. We lived with all of our furniture out of the way for a month before they finally replaced them, only to find out they weren't doing the trim at the same time. They told us they'd be back to do the trim work and replace our mini-blinds in two weeks. The trim work was finally done another month later and I still have broken/missing blinds. Now they've started this ridiculous construction that has taken away visitor parking and destroyed the already terrible roads around Southridge. They continue to treat us like we're an inconvenience in the way of their remodeling. Today they turned off our main water supply to the building without notice. Which means they came into my apartment while I was sleeping then returned to turn it back on while I was getting dressed. If the maintenance guy knocked he certainly didn't do it very loud or wait before coming into my apartment then announcing his presence once fully in with the door closed behind him. Also shouldn't live here if you like sleeping at normal hours. I have some neighbors in the next hall and they're always loud. I talked to security and they keep telling me the loud people will be evicted soon, but nothing yet and it's been several months. ...
