please don't live here . please be wary of good reviews because not too long ago management sent out an email offering cash prize to those who left 5 star reviews of Century Commons. there are many things to write about Century Commons....none of them good things. i will start off by writing that this company does not give back security deposits, and if they do they are given back in more than the legal 21 days and unnecessary deductions are taken. the parking lot needs fixing badly, and in the winters the lots are not plowed for at least 5-7 days AFTER the snow. by this time the parking lot is now an ice rink. when this occurs, there is no salt or dirt put on the lots to lessen the ice and the legal walkways they have to shovel are not shoveled. the hallways smell of garbage and weed. if your roommate(s) are smoking weed in the apartment the management will not do anything unless you have hard evidence (such as taking a video) one of my roommates had 15 people over into our tiny apartment , and the police came by and left laughing. management tells you to deal with it. if you are a clean person like myself, expect yourself to do ALL of the cleaning. management states that it's "not their responsibility" and nothing comes of it. when management does their semesterly inspections, they invite friends and family to do them with them- and these people do not work for MBJ Corporation. these are random people in your living space. the garbages and recycling bins are not emptied for WEEKS. There is garbage piled up against the cans and random furniture. they WILL tow your car. management asks for your license plate numbers as you move in, but for what use ? the predatory towing company will tow it anyways and management states they are not responsible and will not offer a refund. this place states they have students in mind, but the only thing they have on their mind is YOUR MONEY. for your sanity and the sanity of your parents, please do not live here. i do not care if the rent is cheap and there are free utilities. it is not worth it. maintenance does not come in an orderly fashion. had black mold for months and threat of calling the health inspector for management to do something . -A very displeased ex-resident of 3 years. ...
