The parking sucks you would think they'll give parking passes to residents! Its sad when you have to walk five buildings to get to your apartment due to the lack of parking spaces! Its icey outside they dont put down salt and the up keep is horrible! Trash everywhere and you have to pray you dont fall! It was two people fell outside today and that was at 12:00pm why they havent put out salt bothers me! When you live here after a year they still dont come clean your apartment or re paint it like other apartments due! Its sad especially when you pay your rent on time and you cant go outside you may hurt yourself and you have to spray down your apartments due to the bugs they cant get rid of and there lack of caring about there residents! You might as well live in the projects before coming here I rented from fall 10 through fall 11. ...

their dope nice staff nice size apartments fair pricing and my experiance with the neibors have been nice they have some good people living here well the ones ive meet u should move here and if u go to emu its a short walking distance I rented from summer '09 through fall 11. ...

Since this is an attack on myself, I would like everyone to know that I have been here for 3 years and I have never had a problem with any of my residents. This resident still lives here and mind you is not even a lease holder. the said employee was fired and of course was lashing out. This resident was compensated for her troubles. And ANYONE who has a job know that unless you personally own the business there are people to answer to and I don't do anything without direction for my main office. I was not ignoring anyone I was waiting for directive and told this person as soon as I got word I would contact her which is what I did. This resident did receive a rent credit for their heat issue and her property was replaced as requested. I do not live here so my home life has nothing to do with this issue. As for her rating: Our grounds are covered in snow and when they are not if she would pick up after their dog it would look better. Our parking is more than enough to handle all our residents and guests. As for noise if it weren't for the 15 complaints from her neighbors that all "she" does is scream,slam doors, and verbally attack people when "she" is asked to be quiet "she" might not have a issue with noise. For the two years I lived at Huron View I was generally pleased with the apartment, community and staff in the office. Whenever I had a problem or work request it seemed as though the office staff and maintenance went out of their way to help me, and if anything broke it was fixed promptly. The worst thing that ever happened in my apartment was when my door lock stopped working, but the emergency maintenance person was there in about 20 minutes to fix it. You can't even get a pizza that fast, much less work done at an apartment most of the time! If your going to Eastern Michigan University this is the best apartment complex around the college that I could find that still had reasonable rent rates. I have just ended my lease, and I quickly moved out of Huron View. I have lived in many apartments, and I have never been treated so poorly. I have had problems with the maintenance crew, and I tried to call the property manager, Chastity. I was continually promised that my problems would be fixed, or at least have the problem recognized. She then would never return my phone calls, or continually would have excuses for her poor management skills. I have had my property ruined by the maintenance crew and the poor conditions of the buildings. I did not even have heat for the first month of winter due to their negligence of fixing my broken furance. The most aggervating part of my experience was finding out that the property manager, Chastity, was not only ignoring my problems, but she was making fun and talking about my personal situations with the others in the office. I heard about this because I befriended a few of the employees. She was able to live in her warm apartment as the property manager, but allowed her tenants to be treated VERY poorly. I never recieved my compensation for the damaged property that was promised by the property manager, I never recieved my refund that was promised by the property manager, and I am now in the process of taking the apartments to small claims court. The apartments would be a lot nicer if there was new management, however, this will not happen until the current management is let go. I rented from winter '06 through winter '07. ...

Awesome place to live. Apartments are huge, price is great and the staff is very professional and friendly. I rented from fall '05 through fall '07.
