My experience at The Village at Bluegrass was disappointing. I did not have high hopes for the apartment complex, but I did expect it to be decent for the price I was paying. The apartment was still very dusty and dirty when my roommate and I moved in. I found this to be disappointing because I was charged a cleaning fee. The bedrooms were not the same size. There was one very large bedroom, one medium bedroom, and one super tiny bedroom. I understand that the rooms can't all be the same size, but to have such a dramatic size difference is unfair. My roommates and I would eat breakfast and then run the dishwasher before leaving for class so that we could unload them when we got back. I was running late so my roommates left before me, and as I was walking out the door the dishwasher started smoking! The whole kitchen was full of smoke. I had to carefully stop the dishwasher and call maintenance. The situation could have been a lot worse if I wasn't there. They advertised a pool and hot tub. The pool was decent, but the hot tub was smelly and slimy. Nearly every other week it was closed. Maintenance was power washing the sidewalk and water rushed under are door and soaked our floor and shoes. The fitness center was nice! The equipment was very old and not all of the treadmills worked but you still could get a good workout in. The only thing I did not like about the fitness center was many people who did not live in the apartment complex would come and work out there. Overall, I would not recommend The Village at Bluegrass to a friend but your experience might be different than mine! I personally would recommend checking out tall grass apartments! I lived there after bluegrass and it truly was the best. ...

The Village at Bluegrass apartments are on the higher-quality end of apartments in Mount Pleasant. Some of their features includes hardwood floors, air conditioning, a patio, and a bathroom connected to each bedroom. Overall, living at the Village at Bluegrass was a good experience. However, there are hidden fees and charges that arise if one is not careful. ...
