My roommates and I were thrilled when we found Foote Hills. It was in a great location and the staff seemed so friendly. We thought we had found the perfect place to live. Our year there got off to a good start, and was fairly enjoyable. However, every interaction we had with the Manager of the property, Glen, was horrible. I have never been treated so rudely. Upon the end of our lease, we received a notice that we were not going to be able to renew it. When we spoke to Glen, he would not give us an answer as to why. We could not figure out what the problem was since we had never received any notices or complaints. After speaking to him a few more times, he told us that they did not want college students living on the property. This would be understandable if we had been loud or destructive, but we did nothing to warrant the application of this stereotype. Then, when it came time to deal with our security deposit, we were attacked by him for asking simple, normal questions and patronized for not completely agreeing with any charges. As young females we feel discriminated against and taken advantage of by the manager of Foote Hills and would strongly advise against anyone who may be looking into living there. Dealing with everything that came from signing a lease with them has been no less than a nightmare and a huge headache. I rented from summer '07 through summer '08. ...
