Before I moved here, I had heard rumors that Crestleigh is too expensive and has bad plumbing problems. My unit was relatively clean, remodeled, but had a series of leaks in my kitchen. I have had to replace and rewash my dishes numerous times, but once the problem was identified and fixed, I haven't had any further issues in that regard. My carpet had a stench from a previous tenant's pet, but when I notified management, maintenence came in and cleaned it, then had the whole unit recarpeted when the stench wouldn't go away. The major problem I did have was a stolen laptop computer and when I notified management, she only said that I should have had renter's insurance and that I should file a police report. No efforts were made to replace my laptop which was stolen when maintenence gave access to my unit to an outside contractor to replace heating units. I have since requested that no maintenence be done in my absence. I have taken time off of work to be home for scheduled maintenence in my unit. Otherwise, I love living here. I am not bothered by crazy neighbors, excess noise, pests, parking issues, etc. My unit has all of my comfort requirements.
