Save yourself the trouble and do not move here. Living at prospect park apartments has been the biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced. They put on a good show, are super friendly and really make you feel like they care about their residents before you sign that lease, but once you sign they do not care one bit about you or the condition of the apartment they rent you. I moved here in March, two weeks into living here there’s a major leak in the walls of my laundry room they let that go on for 3 weeks before actually stoping the leak. They put two giant holes in my wall around the beginning of April, those holes are still in my wall and it’s almost September now. There is mold growing all in the wall from the moisture and they don’t care they refuse to do anything about it. I’ve had several other leaks, including under my kitchen sink. It leaked for almost 4 months before they fixed it. The cabinet is rotted and warped and growing mold they refuse to fix it and I can’t even use it. The base boards around my entire apartment have about a 1/2 in gap in them and there’s gaps around my front door bugs always come through these gaps and they don’t care one bit. There’s a very big concerning spider problem. I kill at least 4 big brown thick spiders a day in my unit. The garbage disposal was absolutely disgusting when I moved in and didn’t work properly and caused horrible smells in my apartment they refused to fix it. My bathroom sinks and tubs are full of rusty spots there’s black biofilm/sludge in the overflow holes (smells as horrible as it sounds). The dumpsters are always overflowing extremely bad and never cleaned up. They make you pay for valet trash and it doesn’t even get picked up most of the time. The pool is always disgusting never cleaned and always has trash all around the area, they do nothing to clean it up. They do not care about the people living here they just want your money. Since living here in these conditions with all the mold my kids and myself are constantly sick. My girls are scared to sleep because of all the damn spiders. They have came in my apartment several times without permission, and have destroyed multiple items in my home due to ignorance and carelessness. The lady Angelina in the office will smile in your face tell you you don’t know what you’re talking about there’s no mold in your apartment or she’ll pretend to not know nothing has been fixed and say she thought maintenance fixed that issue. The corporate office is no better I’ve left several messages and still haven’t heard from them. This place is a slum ran by scam artist who just want your money. Please do yourself a favor and don’t sign a lease here, it’s been one of the biggest regrets of my life. ...
